Nice neighborhood feel, although a chain. Food is always good. Nice authentic Cuban. Garlic Chicken Rocks! Pros: Delicious Food, Inexpensive Cons: Sometimes A Wait more

cant beat a fried nana 6/12/2002

fried plantains, black beans and rice, what more could you want... well, it's cheap and tasty too. Pros: tasty, cheap, good for groups Cons: no atmosphere more

Worth the wait? 5/21/2002

Been going for years just to eat the garlic chicken. I've noticed a slight drop in tastiness lately, but not enough to stop me from going back again. If the chicken doesn't improve soon, I might reconsider. more

There's a Reason There's Always a Crowd 5/20/2002

The exterior may be somewhat dowdy, but just look at the line curling out the door and the tables filled to the brim inside. Food comes fast (read: lightening speed), is reasonably spiced and absolutely delicious. All the dishes I've tried have been good, but for me, nothing beats the moist garlic chicken. I always grab an extra order of plantains because they're the best Ive ever had. For under $10 you get a full meal with all the sides and it's enough for two to share. I can't think of a better, inexpensive meal. Delicious. Pros: Inexpensive, Reliable Food Cons: Crowded, Limited Parking more

Oh my goodness! 5/13/2002

The pork is absolutely one of the best things I have ever tasted. My tastebuds salivate everytime I think about it. And the plantains...even the beans and rice are good. The in-and-out atmosphere leaves no room for lingering, but it doesn't matter. Go in, get the pork, and leave. It's that simple. Pros: cheap cheap cheap Cons: not that cozy more
