Best

All in all, I'm always taken good care of.

Worst

VeracityNetworks is the WORST ISP I have ever dealt with. Their advertised speeds are an outright LIE. In my area we are lucky to get 10 Mbps down, let alone the advertised 100 ...

Constant problems with phone service, terrible service 5/12/2011

I would never recommend Veracity to anyone. We are a small business and have been with Veracity for about a year. We initially had interenet service with them, but it was terribly slow and we cancelled that. We still have four phone lines and one 800 number with them. The 800 number is constantly going down. For example, sometimes people from certain geographic locations can't reach us on the 800 number and sometimes certain carriers can't reach us (i.e., qwest customers, or at&t cell phones). The problem with this is that Veracity states they can't tell when the 800 number isn't working... that is our job. So we have to call our 800 number from multiple locations and service providers daily just to make sure that it is working. Anyway, you'd think they'd let us out of our contract for this terrible service, but they will not. I checked with Comcast and they said that their systems have checks in place to prevent this type of error. I imagine Qwest, Verizon, and others also have systems in place to prevent this type of poor service. I was told that since Veracity is just a reseller, they probably don't get any notification when a part of the network is out. Anyway, moral of the story is stay away from Veracity. Don't believe what their sales reps tell you. Our sells rep promised great service or they'd let us out of the contract - that was a lie. Save yourself the headache and go for a provider that will give you a product that isn't defective! more

I'm glad to see some people in the area are not suffering li 3/21/2011

I'm very surprised to see so many positive reviews with Veracity Communications internet service. I used to have a contract with M-Star until they were bought out about a year and a half ago. Up until M-Star was bought out I had a perfect connection even when it was shared by 4 other computers in the complex. I used to surf the internet, play online games and pretty much anything else you can do without ever noticing a glitch or a flutter during an entire internet session up to 4 hours long or longer. The day Veracity Communications installed their service at the apartment the internet service has been a constant fluctuating service. The internet is constantly booting me off of online games such as World of Warcraft, Rift, Lord of the Rings Online to name a few. Several times when I've just gotten fed up with attempting to play an online game I'll decide to just surf the web and I can't even load a simple web page like my home page (iGoogle). I hope I'm not just the lucky person and that no one else is ever experiencing such terrible service. Because I'm not making it up it has happened since day one over a year ago. I've complained several times but I'm only told to take the main line out and plug it directly into my own computer. For the record that's not trouble shooting. I'm not retarded of course if you only use the entire 15 mbits up and 15 mbits down service into one computer that one computer is going to have more that enough internet service for anything you'll ever need. Why was it that I could spread M-Star's signal over 5 computers with no problems but with Veracity Communications I apparently need to purchase a dedicated line for each computer??? I use internet speed test websites all the time and I have never seen the signal at 15 up and 15 down even when I take the main line out of the router and put it directly into my computer. For the record when I had M-Star I always saw it very close to that 15 up and 15 down never with Veracity Communications. The fact is they (Veracity Communications) don't provide you with the service that you pay them for which in my book is stealing. All I can say is as soon as the contract is up I'm done and I'll never use Veracity Communications service ever again. Just ask yourselves if you went into a steak house and ordered a 16 oz. steak and they came out with an 8 oz. steak would you expect some reimbursement or at least a second steak free? more

Fiber Optic Network - Veracity 3/7/2011

You are not the only on KBMeathouse! My wife and I moved into our first home 3 months ago. We now feel very luck that our home is on the Fiber-Optic network in Provo. Speaking to some of our neighbors, we have discovered that a lot of the home owners did not opt in for the free install, when the city owned the Fiber-Optic network. The value of our home is higher because the previous owners did opt in. And now we have this great internet connection, unlike our neighbors who are stuck with DSL. more

Veracity is really the only choice! 3/4/2011

My friend told me about Veracity and how great it was, so I thought I would give it a try. He was right! The price was the best I had seen and the service is great. I get both Internet and TV from them and I have been very happy with both. more

The Best Ever 3/4/2011

I got a flyer in the mail saying I could get a 14 day free trial on their internet. The next day I was enjoying 15 Mbps Internet and they never even had to send a technician. Now I am a paying customer and I?m enjoying the same great speeds. more

Veracity Networks- Internet in Provo, Utah 1/5/2011

I've read a lot of reviews that seem to be negative about Veracity. However, they are old. Since then, I'm confident Veracity has changed their system because I have yet to encounter any problems that have been listed below. Being a business owner, their services have been by far the best. I've found Veracity in Utah CEO as top 50....for a reason. Hopefully others will use their services and find it as good as I have. more

Am I the only one using this company's service? 12/3/2010

is there another company out there that comes close to the internet speeds and technology as this? 50meg at home! Wow! I can't get anything like that for my business, how do they do it? Not only that, but I called them, and they answered the phone immediately... I was surprised because I was expecting a long wait to get this service. I can't be the only person that knows about this companies service, if so, more for me I guess! more

Veracity Networks is Awesome!! 10/7/2010

I use Veracity's Phone service and have for years, I saw a few negative comments so I wanted to express my experience, their Phone service is a real value, I love the features and reliabilty, I have cancelled my Expensive Qwest line for their Phone Serivce and I have never looked back. more

EXCELLENT and reliable service! 4/15/2010

I loved my experience with Veracity! Not sure what these other people experienced, but mine was nothing but positive! I only had to call support twice, and both times a reboot of my router solved the problem. After replacing it, I have yet to go down. I did have to wait on hold once for about 15 minutes, which was not very pleasant. But even after that they were able to get me working very quickly. Very reliable. Great service Highly recommend! Pros: I loved my Internet with Veracity! VERY fast and reliable! Cons: Sometimes have to wait on hold for longer period of time more

Worthless Cable provider 2/16/2010

So veracity promises the FSN channel, but they never show you the Jazz games. I guess FSN raised their prices because they bought all the rights to local broadcasting. So Veracity didn't want to pay the price and instead decided to cut half the Jazz games. I am a very disappointed customer. You would think they would bit the extra cost and make sure the customer was happy. Plus many of the times the channels will get really choppy and pix-elated. And other times I use the DVR to record a program and the program isn't there. Disappointed- Go with someone else. Pros: I bet they can whistle Cons: Terrible TV coverage. more

go with ANY other service provider! 1/25/2010

Their service is absolutely, completely, utterly, profoundly worthless. They claim to provide high speed internet but this is NOT true so do not be fooled. Internet is always extremely slow and the connection frequently times out. I give them one star only because I must in order to write a review otherwise I'd give them half a star. Pros: Can't think of a single one... Cons: Very slow, unreliable, barely dial-up speeds more

A sorry excuse for an ISP 9/2/2006

These guys have horrible service, their internet is always slow and glitchy, even when you pay for the rediculously overpriced ""high speed"" package. I was never satisfied with their poor service and found myself wondering for days at a time where the hell my internet went. Pros: I can really think of nothing good about this company... Cons: Unreliable internet, inattentive service, slow slow slow more

Unbelievably poor 11/7/2005

I have had internet service through Off Campus Telecommunications for a couple of years and their customer service is terrible. The internet has been down countless times, sometimes for days at a time. The service people often don't keep their appointments, and my messages left on their customer service line don't get returned. I will never do business with them (or anyone that is affiliated with them) again. Pros: Internet often works Cons: It's always slow, Service is poor, Down for days more
