My business requires unusual fast fasteners at times. They have always either had what I need in stock or go the extra mile and find and order it. It makes me look good to my customers and in doing so increases my customer base. more

I went in and brought a bolt i needed, I gave it to the tall guy, and he brought back the bolts, i paid for and left, when I got back to work, they were wrong. When I returned his remarks were very bad. i wont be going back more

…not just fasteners…they have hand tools, power tools, sanding disc, they even have that rubberized spray you see on tv…the staff was very helpful…they need hold music though sometime they get a little busy. The entire staff was/is very helpful. One time the guy on the phone actually told me to go one of his competitors because he knew how desperate I was to fix the foot peg on my Harley. more

It's the first time in 2 yrs, where they actually found a real salesmen very noisy in store more

I have been regular commercial a customer of Vancouver Bolt in Longview for a few years.So I have become accomstomed to their sub par customer service, but they are the only place in town that has a decent selection of hardware. I called them looking for a special order part that I have purchased from them in the past. The fellow who answered the phone was very short with me and rudely told me that he would not order just one item for me. When I told him that I had ordered this same item in the past, he impatiently repeated himself. I was getting irritated by this time and insisted that he could get me the part if he would just open a catalog, instead of handeling a slightly difficult situation that he created in a proffesional manner, he hung up on me. I have spent several thousand dollars at their Longview store over the last few years, but never again. The ownership of this company is clueless when it comes to customer service! Stay away unless you want to be treated like garbage. more

The only good point is that they have lots of hard-to-find hardware. The store is way understaffed, all hardware is kept behind the counter so you spend A LOT of time waiting for service, and salesmen will become downright rude when you mention to them that you only need one or two bolts instead of a whole box. I get the impression that you are not a valued customer there unless you have a large industrial account there. more

Good: The selection of hard-to-find hardware.. Bad: The attitude of the salesmen and the amount of time spent waiting.. Improvements: Add more staff and treat ALL paying customers with respect. Maybe also add Saturday hours.. more
