They did a great job for my family home. We wanted to finish our basement for our growing family and thought it would be impossible with how much water comes in our basement. We hired Value Dry who was able to schedule an appointment quickly and the get the work done quickly and cleanly. We are very happy with their work and now we can start looking into finishing our basement because it has been completely dry since. more

We recently had our basement fixed by Value Dry. They dug up outside the foundation and repaired a crack that had been leaking into our basement. I was very happy that they could do this from the outside and we are very satisfied with the work. It was quick and clean and we didn't have to make a mess in our house. more

We had a Value Dry system installed about 10 years ago and it worked wonderfully ever since. The reason I am taking the time to write this review now is because after many years and a lot of pumping the pump finally died. It happened in during a heavy rain storm so we knew that we needed to have it fixed quickly or else our basement would be in trouble. I cannot even being to tell you how amazing Value Dry was with upholding their warranty and how quick the service was. I called at 6 AM and actually spoke to a live person. A few hours later someone was out to my home and replaced the pump under the lifetime warranty. What a life saver. We spent a little more to go with Value Dry 10 years ago and it definitely paid off in the end. more

This was a great company to deal with from start to finish. I have to admit I get worried sometimes when dealing with contractors, but everyone I dealt with from this company was honest and helpful from in every way possible. For the reviewers that posted the negative reviews about having both husband and wife at the appointment I must say I think your review would be much different had you taken the time to meet with these people. The salesman was not pushy and I am happy that my wife and I were both there in the end because we bot had different questions that we wanted answered before we felt fully comfortable. Our basement has been dry now for 6 months and we could not be happier. more

I scheduled a estimate with Value Dry for a property in Newton MA. My experience from start to end including the work done was outstanding. The company was very professional and completed the job within the time frame they told me it would take. We would highly recommend Value Dry. Our initial meeting was with inspector Al Meo who looked at the water problem we were having in our basement. He concluded that the problem was coming from the outside so the project would require digging down to the foundation and sealing up all cracks and holes. We found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained exactly what needed to be done in a clear manner. We were able to get on the schedule within a few weeks of meeting with Al. The crew that came out was excellent--Lorenzo and Neo. They completed the job in 2 days. They were hard working (they dug a 15 feet hole by hand), friendly and cleaned up after themselves. We thought the project price was reasonable for the value of the work and quality waterproofing materials used. We like that this company has been around for over 20 years and they give you a lifetime guarantee on the work. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. more

We called Value Dry for an estimate to repair a crack in our basement wall that was leaking. Everyone we dealt with, from the receptionist to the repair crew, was friendly and professional. The estimator was prompt, thoroughly explained everything, and even gave us some inexpensive ideas for changing our landscaping to prevent additional water damage. The crew did excellent work and completely cleaned up after themselves. We found their rates to be competitive, and the best part was that they didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need. When I was trying to get a quote for drainage system in basement a called several companies. And all of them, besides Value Dry, sounds unprofessional, they told me that they are busy, setting an appointment was hard. When I spoke with Value Dry representative I realized that I am dealing with professional company with customer oriented service. Getting inspection time was very convenient, because they offering weekends and during weekdays they can come after 5 p.m. It was very convenient for me. \r Inspector was very knowledgeable, acting professionally and give me very clear presentation on what they offering and how everything works. Crew was performing very well. Job was done on time and my basement wasn't messy. I had that problem previously with other contractors. Value Dry also offering great deals on financing with 0% interest. \r I am definitely recommend Value Dry if you want great drainage system that works for your money spend. more

I interviewed 4 different waterproofing companies and ValueDry was who we went with. They weren't the cheapest, but their system and our comfort with the sales process put them over the top. We were confident in what we were purchasing, especially since our basement is also our baby's playroom, so eliminating any water problems was critical.\r \r The 3 man crew did the work exactly as specified, almost 40 feet of track with wall guards and a 1/2 HP Zoller sump pump. The work was done in about 7 hours. The crew was very friendly and professional, cleaning up after themselves and very respectful of our home, treating it like theirs. When they finished their work, they walked me through the basement, explaining what they did and demonstrated the pump's activity, very reassuring.\r \r Only time will tell if water ever comes back into our basement, but we are not worries about it with the system installed.\r \r Look around and compare for yourself, but I would highly recommend ValueDry. more

The WORST business EVER in terms of respecting their customers - oh, please excuse my wording - potential customers, because under their definition, I am not their customer yet.\r \r I found this company through Angie's list and contacted them. They requested that both me and my wife be home during the estimate. It was wired, but I understood it because I experienced the same marketing strategy before from a windows company. So, I manage to find a weekend day that works for both me and my wife - it is hard for families with kids, as some of the reviewers mentioned. HOWEVER, they called me one day before to reschedule our appointment, because of their scheduling issues. I was okay with that, and managed to find another date, a week day to fit their schedule better, which is today at 6:00 pm. AND this time, they called me at 5:15 pm, and said that they just got two service calls and wanted to reschedule my estimate appointment again. \r \r In summary, Value Dry canceled my appointment TWICE due to their own issues, with NO respect to me and my time and effort to schedule the appointments. That is WHY I am writing this definitely NEGATIVE review here at Angie's list, and anywhere I can find on the internet. Readers, please note that there must be a reason why a company received so many C/F reviews.\r \r So my advice, if you want to waste a month waiting for nothing but their calls to cancel your schedule, Value Dry is the way to go. Or you may take their ""real customers"" who don't really care to write a review more than 4 lines. more

I highly recommend Value Dry to anyone who's goal is to have a dry basement. My fiancé and I got a great deal (June special- 10% off) in addition to their $600 online promotion to all customers. They were able to fit us into their busy schedule and make an appointment with us within a couple weeks, and the job was DONE in 2 days!!!! The employees were very professions, informational, and worked efficiently. We are so pleased with our experience.\r more
