Vail Sports

My family gets all of their ski rentals and snowboard rentals at Vail Sports. We have always had a great experience, and they have been very accommodating when there was a problem and we wanted to switch to a different ski or boot. I also purchased my skis at Vail Sports in a sale a few years ago. They were a great price for an awesome ski. more

We are a family of four and we used Vail Sports because I did not want to haul my skis across country and it seemed that they had the most locations at the resort. That is an understatement, they are everywhere. The just don't rent skis and snowboards but they sell everything you would need. I lost my gloves (don't ask) on the lift and there was a store on the mountain when we got off the lift. I was going to buy a new pair and I told them that I rented my skis from them and they said that gloves fall off the lift all the time and they had a collection to let me use. They did not have to do that. I am just another jerk customer from out of town. This is just one example of how I was treated. I have many examples that I can talk about wit Vail Sports but to make a very long story short. They are convenient, they are profesional and they rent awesome equipment. If you go say hi to Lee or Scott for me!! Rock on with your bad selfs. more

Although this is a chain partially owned by Vail Resorts, the stores and staff are great. The staff really knows the merchandise as well as the sports they cater to: biking and hiking in the summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. They sell all the accompanying gear too: hats, sunglasses. gloves, sunscreen, power bars etc., and also rent skis and snowboards. Not a cheap store but fun to browse in. more
