Although this is a chain partially owned by Vail Resorts, the stores and staff are great. The staff really knows the merchandise as well as the sports they cater to: biking and hiking in the summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. They sell all the accompanying gear too: hats, sunglasses. gloves, sunscreen, power bars etc., and also rent skis and snowboards. Not a cheap store but fun to browse in.
