Editorial review from Citysearch 1/23/2013

Probably the worst DJ with the worst attitude that I've ever seen. He lacked the skill to even provide PA & DJ for the easiest gig of all time - a church benefit talent show - that would have just required him to have levels tested & set for two 3-piece bands and a handful of stage performances - just a couple of mics. He showed no effort during a dress rehearsal (for which he was paid extra to attend) to setup his equipment, watch and set levels for the different performers. The show itself was an audio embarrassment - all due to the lack of music and ultra-low volume from the mains, and very poor mic quality - all the while Joe stood behind his equipment with his hands in his pockets and the dumbest of looks on his face. If he didn't know what he was doing, he should have asked - it isn't rocket science. The audience heard close to nothing through his PA system and it diminished the hard work of many performers and arrangers in this show. The only time his PA system was heard was 15 minutes after the show ended (while the room was being cleaned). Joe finally found his volume slider and had the disco music pumping to an empty room.\r A deaf monkey could have done a better job and would have been more attentive. Not once, did this guy come out from behind his equipment to even check the house levels. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Never hire this guy - he doesn't care, neither should you.\r Steve more

great wedding dj!!! 4/9/2012

V-Sound Productions performed at our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our dj Joe was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Joe walked us through every step of the planning and answered all of our questions. The planning forms and music search on his website made things really easy. It also helped a lot that he told us we could call or email him any time and we did often ;-) He was so patient with us and helped us with stuff I never thought a dj would help with. The day of the wedding he kept it all going smoothly and played a great selection of music that packed the dance floor. more

In my opinion, this guy is a scam artist and his references are fake 3/1/2009

See this email I received from another unhappy customer. Interestingly enough, he is blacklisted at my venue as well, Prestonwood Country Club:\r \r I am a wedding coordinator and had the very unpleasant pleasure of working with HIM last fall. It was an outdoor venue and he was told repeatedly it was an outdoor venue. He arrived with no tent/no protection from sun or worse, rain. He stated ""per the contract"" he didn't have to bring a tent. I was willing to rearrange some tables and offered him a corner of the reception tent but he told me he didn't like that spot, so I directed him to where the DJ's that I have worked with normally set up at this venue and he didn't like that spot either. I was completely astonished that he was challenging me on ""his spot"" - very rude. \r Well, things went downhill from there ? He had an order of service/agenda that he presented to me. He was frantic about following the schedule to the minute. Shortly after the recessional, there was a brief rain shower and I found him ripping table clothes off my tables, to use to cover up his equipment and trying to scramble to get his equipment under cover. Once the excitement was over he announced that ""per the contract"" he didn't have to play anymore. He literally had a temper tantrum while the rest of us went about our business, the sun was back out, wine and appetizers were being served, everyone was happy and he was refusing to play. After AN HOUR of not playing and pouting, I told him that he needed to pack up and leave and that I would make other arrangements for music. He said again, ""per the contact"" I had to provide him a place undercover to set up. I reluctantly allowed him to set up on an upper deck area, rearranging more tables in the middle of the reception. He was so ungrateful, and rude. At the end of the evening, I personally told him he was not allowed back at that venue. I immediately told the venue owner and he has not returned since. Cons: Extremely hard to work with and unable to see what a pain he is to deal with more
