They watch all of your family pet needs. Dogs, Cats, Elderly pets even the occasional bird or bunny. Just ask - they will do it. Kennels are indoor! There are NO grates or wire mesh that the dogs or cats stand on! They have a Kattery building with outdoor play areas that you can request. they play the radio to help soothe the pets. Dog Kennels are in a block building with tile floors throughout which helps keep it cool durring the hot Florida Summers. Kennels are separated with a block wall between each one. There are 4 kennel size options to choose from. Each pets gets a "lift form" to keep them off the floor and a blanket or soft throw to lay on. Upgrade your family members stay to a Luxury Deluxe Appartment which is a private room in a separte building with a private yard and exterior window and a puppy cot for a bed. Or you can choose their Deluxe Master Suite which is the size of a bedroom with a private yard and 3 exterior windows, twin size bed, loveseat and many soft stuffed throws. Dogs are let out separately in very large outdoor areas in the morning and afternoon. If your dog requires extra trips outside just let them know - they will do it. Do not go here! We just went to Michigan for a family vacation and left our toy poodle Jet in there care and it went badly. We had him groomed while we were away and it was painful to come back too. He had shave marks down to the skin around his ears and eyes and on the body. Also on the body there was hair that wasn't even touched so he looks mangy as if he's been on the streets his whole life. The hair on his belly was either shaved down to the skin again with razor lines and completely long under his arms and paws. Jet is only 5 pounds and when we got him back his bones were sticking out from not eating. Mind you he has been to kennels in Michigan a lot and always gets amazing report cards on how playful and nice he is. I am sad to even think about how my little guy was treated. BEWARE!!!! When we called to ask about his hair they said to take it up with their groomer and it wasn't their problem (this from a manager). DONT GO! more

This is one of the few places in the area that does cat grooming and they do a competent job on my cat, The facilities for boarding cats seems very good as well, although I have not boarded my cat here. Generally appears to be well run with good facilities and reasonably priced. more

I can not rave enough about VIP Pet Resort. Our dog had previously been abused before we adopted her so to say she is skittish is putting it mildly. She absolutely LOVES being boarded and looks so happy when I pick her up. She is not one to take to new people but has taken to the staff at VIP almost instantly. They are very professional and patient. They are affordable and offer "vacation" packages for your animal which include ice cream and time by the pool. I am so glad that I found VIP. more

My dog loved the place! She even received a report card from the staff. So cute! I know they love the animals. I arrived unannounced before I left my pet there and the place was spotless! PROS: Many young people on staff who love animals. CONS: None that I could tell. more

My dogs look so good when I pick them up from here! They seem so happy and the staff are so good with animals. I am very comfortable when I leave them here because I know they are in good hands. Very conveniently located as well. more
