The moral of the story is that this place does not care about the people nor the animals, which I thought was their job. I walked into the lobby feeling incredibly anxious about the wellbeing of my dog. My instincts & intuition were compromised & I put my trust in VCA Aurora. I should be able to do that. ANY pet owner should be able to do that. People are turning to you in a time of need, sometimes a time of utter desperation. I expected more out of you. I expected CARE. I expected compassion & understanding. At the very least, I expected to be taken seriously & treated well. I did not get any of that.
This place is awful & gives off the perception that it puts billing over animal wellbeing. I don’t know about you, but my pets are my family. My daily routine revolves around them. This means sacrificing a lot to give them the best of the best. I failed my Bailey by going to VCA Aurora. It was not worth the stress, & definitely not worth the money, to end up leaving feeling worse than when I had walked in.
