The negative review is legit 8/28/2010

Usexpressmoving posted a very strongly worded rebuttal to the negative review and incorrectly suggested that it was written by a competitor. So much for 1st amendment rights. ""Admittedly, I havent benchmarked them"" (them = competitors). This clearly qualified that a comparative analysis wasnt available. A rebuttal (while giving 5 stars to the entity, improving the average rating) should not be considered a review. The gentlemen who showed up to help us move were the best movers I have ever encountered. I had to tell you thank your for a great job! Great pricing was what drew me to your company, but it has turned out to be so much more than that. I cannot say enough about the value for the money. The man who set up our move was so professional both on the phone and through email. more

Asked pregnant woman to move king bed! 7/11/2010

Told my heavily pregnant wife to push the king size bed! Did not move a lot of standard stuff, had to do it myself. Broke furniture and pretended that it was already broken so as to skimp on claim. The 3 folks who moved our stuff were extremely arrogant and one of them had a very aggressive demeanor. Very rough with stuff. They are cheap but extra packing materials are very expensive. They ask for a credit card deposit while booking so please be certain you want to do do it before locking in. Though they're on the cheaper side there's others in the area who do it for that price. Admittedly, I havent benchmarked them. But Ive had much much better movers in the past. Cons: Poor quality, work shirkers more

I move a lot because of my job and every time I have to move I start getting migraines thinking of it because there is always and I mean always a problem with the moving companies, it's either they want more money or they want me to buy their lunch or they want me to tip them when they damaged some of my furniture that is going to cost me to replace. Anyway I called this US Express Moving Systems company and they seemed great right off the bat because all of their employees over the phone were very helpful and courteous. I scheduled an appointment with them practically the same day and when they arrived on time I was surprised and a little excited because I thought maybe there finally is a good moving company. When they entered my home they went straight to work and packed up all my boxes and labeled where each one would go. All the furniture was wrapped in blankets and gently carried into the truck. The movers had such agility that you could tell that not only did they know what they were doing but that they were good at it. Everything was loaded onto the truck pretty fast and so far so good, not one single damage on anything. As we arrived to my new location the movers did not even stop to take a break but I told them to take lunch and even offered to pay, they did take lunch but refused to let me pay. As they finished their lunch they went right back to work and finished unloading the truck with in two and half hours. Everything was then put in its correct room and the furniture was unwrapped; the one thing that really amazed me was that any mess they made they cleaned. As you can see US Express Moving Systems did a great job relocating me. Thank you so much US Express Moving Systems and a big thanks to the crew you did an awesome job and I already know which company to go with every time. I highly recommend them for your move also that is why I wrote this review to show people that there is a good moving company. Pros: I highly recommend them to my family! more

Very Disappointing 7/29/2009

I expected much better from a ""reputable"" company. I had a simple domestic move that turned into a nightmare. I was told my shipment would be delivered 4 or 5 days before it actually arrived and when I confronted staff about it, I was sent legal disclaimers and contract language as opposed to an explanation. Finally, one staff member was kind enough to actually call me and explain what happened (after 4 days of complaining). Then when my shipment was finally scheduled to be delivered the driver was running an hour and a half late and I had to call (after an hour) to find that out. No one in the organization found it necessary or even polite to let me know that he was running an hour and a half late. Positives for the company were that the actual movers were kind and professional but that's about it. This is the third time I've hired movers to relocate and I will NEVER use this company again. Pros: Cost efficient, friendly movers Cons: Delayed shipping times and rude/uninformed staff more
