Editorial review from Citysearch 9/12/2013

I have been going to this dealership for several years to get my car serviced. However, recently after my turbo charger had to be replaced (at 52,000 miles at a cost of $3000), I went in to pick up my car. None of the service consultants came out to talk to me about my car and the repairs. I was directed to the cashier, paid my hefty bill, and then was given my keys to the car. When I went to the car I noticed some brown grime on the hood which I thought was just dirt that they missed when washing my car, so I left the dealership since I was in a hurry to get to a meeting. Two weeks later I decided to take the car back in to get it rewashed since the grime was still on the hood but they couldn't get it off at the carwash. They took it back to the service department and told me they got the brown stuff off but it had messed up my clear coat/paint. When I tried to talk to the service director about it, he told me they wouldn't do anything about it and it wasn't there when it left the dealership! The service director Jeff Holt was completely rude and dismissive and told me he WOULD NOT do anything for me. I've never had a complaint in 6 years about the service department but Jeff Holt has made me swear off ever purchasing an Audi or servicing it at this dealership. This is the worst service manager I have ever dealt with. He didn't even seem sympathetic or like he cared that I've been going there for 6 years. DON'T GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP unless you want to risk them messing up your car and not fixing what they mess up. more

I was limited in time as I had another appointment and I did not expect they would be able to get the car ready in such a short amount of time. I assumed I would go by later in the day to pick it up. Much to my surprise upon completion of the paperwork it was in the front of the dealership washed and ready to go. Audi Dallas exceeded my expectations! more

Mike Woods gave me exceptional service, facilitated my TWO trades, and got me into a new A3 for slightly more than used. Also, impressed that he gave his personal cell in the event there were any issues. more

I loved that when I picked up my car is was detailed and washed. It was also next to the R8's in the very front. I know I might not be the best customer they have ever had but they sure make me feel like I'm their most important customer. more

Professional dealer! 4/2/2012

Both Tom and Zane were terrific! I came in with non-standard requirements and they were quickly able to show me how they could meet my needs. They were honest and knew their cars. I did a lot of research up-front and they were able to significantly add to my understanding. They were easy to work with through the entire process. more

Best ever! 3/29/2012

Dishonest Service Department 3/6/2012

I took my car to Audi Dallas on Lemmon Ave., Dallas, TX on 3-6-2012 for an oil change. I had been sent a ""we want you back"" offer, so being the loyal Audi customer that I am scheduled an appointment with the service department. I was to drop my car off, and pick up a loaner while they changed my oil, replaced my windshield wiper blades, repaired the driver's seat back panel that had come unglued, and the knob that makes the passenger seat rise up and down. \r \r I arrived on time and was told to take a seat. The service person asks me to sign off on $359 estimate for these items, and that they would call me before repairing anything over the $359. I was shocked at the estimate for $109 oil change, and $149 retainer for the service tech to even look at my passenger seat. Then they told me if the seat issue was not under my extended warranty they would call to let me know how much more I would need to pay. Reluctantly, I signed off on the work order, hoping the passenger seat issue would be under my extended warranty. \r \r The KICKER was when I went to get my loaner car, the dealership form for the loaner car requires you to agree that if you ""damage"" their loaner car, whether or not it is even your fault, that you will pay the dealership Audi Dallas your deductible, which for me is $500, otherwise the dealership will hold your car hostage until you hand them over your insurance deductible. I told them that I was fully insured as they could see on my insurance certificate and that if I ""damaged"" their loaner car; our insurance companies would work it out between themselves. I called State Farm, my insurance company and they told me that they would be happy to speak to the dealership and explain to them how the process worked, which did NOT include paying Audi Dallas directly my deductible. I would pay whatever party State Farm decided I should pay for repairs, if the ""damage"" was even my fault.\r \r In the past I have never been asked to agree to this insurance procedure at this dealership, and immediately a red flag went off. It occurred to me that just dropping my car off at Audi Dallas for an oil change could potentially, at the minimum, cost me $859 before I could get my car back. After an hour long conversation with the Audi Dallas service manager, I requested my car be brought back to me, that I was not going to leave it with them for service.\r \r AUDI DALLAS IS A SHADY DEALERSHIP. Up until a few years ago, before ownership changed from University Park Audi to Audi Dallas, service was always a very pleasant experience. This entire situation was bad business, from the repair estimate to the loaner car experience. I will never take my Audi back to this dealership, and I would advise anyone else to seek other service repair options before leaving your car with Dallas Audi.\r more

Awesome service! 3/6/2012

We had a truly wonderful experience! Would recommend Mike Wood and Audi Dallas again and again! more

Excellent staff! 2/27/2012

I had been trying to decide just what car to purchase for almost 6 months. Jeff Logan was very responsive to my questions and any concerns I might have had. Once I spoke to Jeff and drove the car, I was convinced it was the right car. It's only been 2 weeks, but I truly love my A7! I don't believe any improvement is necessary. Everyone at Audi Dallas made the buying experience a very pleasant one. more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY ARE SCANDALOUS 2/10/2012

The service department always quotes me different prices for the same thing and it's always higher than Boardwalk Audi. I feel they are dishonest and they do not care about their customers whatsever. I've actually caught them lying to me before. \r \r One time, I took my car in for service and Tim (he's scandalous..watch out) told me the cost plus it was going to be $125.00 to fix my radio (it was just flashing red and not turning on). I was shocked, but I paid it because I really wanted my radio on. \r \r A couple of months my radio did the SAME thing. I was in Plano so I took it to Boardwalk. The service guys were so friendly and told me the problem. It was a simple button I had to push to reset it! Anyone can do it and there is no maintanence whatsoever. \r \r I was charged $125.00 for a simple push of the button to reset my radio at UP Audi...pretty bad. I'm writing this review for all women out there. We can often be taken advantage of in the world of dealerships and this place is nowhere for a girl to go. They are dishonest and take advantage of people's ignorance. I am even thinking about calling corporate...I really think the manager doesn't care about reviews or his customers. Please, if you have had a similar experience, please call and complain. Something has to be done. \r \r Thank you!\r \r P.S. I think the citysearch website has all the dealership employees posting or something...it sounds so fake ...try yelp to get the real deal. \r more
