Union of DC Movers did great job for my family 2/10/2011

This move went very smoothly from beginning to end. Everything was done on schedule or early and I was kept informed all the time just the way I like it. The crew that delivered was very professional, assembled all the things I needed and were very pleasant to deal with. I especially appreciated being contacted by the move coordinators throughout the whole move so that I knew specific pick. more

Definitely worth every penny 1/23/2011

I found Union of DC Movers a year ago and used them so my father wouldn't have to move me up three flights of stairs for an entire day. Mover came and unpacked my full truck in less than half an hour. It was nuts! At one point a man was practically carrying boxes on his head. more

Excellent service 1/13/2011

I used Union of DC Movers for my relocation & I was very happy with the service they provided me. They were upfront with their services & costs etc, although they were not the cheapest company out there but it was very well worth every penny spent. The movers were on time, professional, & my price did not change with them. I would definetly use them again & refer all my friends & family if they are ever in need for a out of state move. Thanks again Moving Experts!!! more

Union of DC Movers is my best moving company !!! 1/5/2011

We just used Union of DC Movers last weekend to move and were beyond happy with them. Not only did they show up 45 mins early --they had us moved out of our old place and into the new within 1.5 hours. These guys didn't stop moving from the time they arrived, till the time they left and even set up everything for us. They actually even fixed my wobbly table for me! I've already recommended them to everyone I know and will for sure use them again in the future. Worth every penny and very happy Fatima Al-Mansur, happy customer more

Lowest rates and BEst moving service in DC 12/11/2010

Union of DC Movers is fantastic. Rodger, Paul and John moved us into our new apartment (3rd floor walk-up) well within the estimate I was quoted. They worked really hard, didn't break or damage a thing and were very friendly. Also when you call the office number, someone answers the phone! No phone trees! I will use them again for the next move and you should too! more

Wonderful Service! 7/5/2010

Fast, careful and overall very courteous! The were on time and certainly didn't slack off or waste any time. They made very good use of the hour time we had them for, which we truly appreciated! They were also very careful with our items as to not break or scratch anything! Pros: My best movers Cons: I love them tooooooooo much more

Lovely service 6/25/2010

A bunch of my work friends had used Union of DC movers for local moves and had very nice things to say so I booked a day to move my entire apartment down the street to a bigger place. They loaded everything out and into the truck super quick and loaded things into our electricity-less new apartment even quicker leaving enough time to enjoy a couple beers and tell stories by candlelight. Union of DC Movers staff was easy to deal with and no-nonsense. We got what we asked for and when the movers realized the truck was going to be too small, the movers and the office sent a second truck and driver at the same cost without even mentioning it to us as a problem. The move went smoothly; the time/cost was what we expected; the gentlemen who moved us were truly delightful. We haven't completely unpacked everything yet, but so far, it seems they moved our entire two bedroom apartment without a single item breaking. These folks are superb. These guys have super competitive price 6/14/2010

These guys have super competitive prices and really get the job done FAST. They moved my bf and I out of studio (5th floor walk-up) in about 1.5 hours, and into our new apartment (6th floor with an elevator) in about an hour. 2.5 hours overall, not bad! They do give you 4 flights of stairs included in their price, and then they charge you per flight after that (it's not a bad deal though). I wasn't sure if all of our stuff would fit in their van, but it did (barely) and nothing was broken at all. Great guys, already recommended to a bunch of people! Pros: Great customer service, cheapest rates Cons: no schratches, no damages more

Best movers in DC 6/12/2010

They don't get any better than this. I've moved with Union of DC movers 4 times, and they treated me like a king. The last time I moved, my consultant said I will be receiving a ""VIP""crew (Does not include massage ;) ). The crew were top notch, they treated my furniture as if it's coming out of a museum. Your staff was wonderful, they arrived on time, very friendly, put me at ease right away. Got to Baltimore before rush hour, every thing was put in its place, and there were no hidden charges at the end, you can't get any better than that. I would recommend your company to anyone who is moving. From the first phone call to set up the move, to the final phase every thing was smooth and pleasant. Thank you for a job Well done. Made this the easiest moving I ever had 6/5/2010

Used this company to move me out of a 3rd floor apartment on May,2. Other than them showing up a little earlier then expected, everything went fantastic. They were efficient and careful with all my belongings. Very friendly, and helpful with putting things where I wanted them. Rates are very reasonable, and would definitely use them again if needed. Very good moving service in Washington, DC 6/3/2010

I have just unpacked the last box these guys did and I must say, they know what they are doing. They packed and moved my 2 bed room apartment from DC to Arlington,VA in less than 5 hours and everything seems fine. Nothing was broken or damaged. All furniture was put together and they even helped me with connecting my stereo components (one of the guys was an electronics expert). I read all the reviews here and I realize that your move will be as good as the crew you are going to get on the moving date. The head mover on the crew I had was Matt, and I recommend you ask for him when scheduling your move. Overall very positive experience, AND ALL THIS FOR VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I was EXTREMLEY satisfied with the movers 5/21/2010

The company was great from beginning to end. Mike was very polite & friendly when it came to the quote and then confirming the job. He was professional and very fast. I called around to a lot of different companies and got a lot of quotes, UNION OF DC MOVERS was by far the best and they were great to deal with. Our belongings arrived within the 2 week time frame given. The two gentleman (can't remember their names) that moved our furniture in were outstanding they wouldn't let us do a thing i basically pointed to where stuff was to go. They were very professional and super friendly. All of our items arrived in one piece except for one very cheap book case, which they apologized for and offered to pay for a new one. I was EXTREMLEY satisfied with the company and would recommend them in a heart beat. Pros: would recommend them in a heart beat Cons: NO ONE LITTLE PROMBLEM more

Affordable movers , GREAT job 4/27/2010

We have used UNION OF DC MOVERS four times. They always showed up on time, they were willing to move additional items to different locations. They were extremely courteous and worked fast without taking long breaks. By the way : last time on completion their price was within 10% of the original estimate. Very affordable LAST minute movers in Maryland / Nova area 4/21/2010

We had a lot of problems with closing on our new house and with our contractor and with the closing on our own apartment in the city, but the one part that was smooth and relaxing was Union of D.C. movers. We got all the explanations and information ahead of time (even information our building should have provided us with) Union of D.C. was very accommodating with our special scheduling needs and very prompt through out the whole process and after a long and tiring day they also helped us unpack, which was great, helping us to prepare for a new working day.
