Great Breakfast 4/3/2006

Uncle Bill’s is great whether it’s the middle of the night and you’re coming down from a night of partying or you’re meeting friends for breakfast on a Saturday morning. This has a very old fashioned service staff and the food is so, so good. They really do have great pancakes. And to be expected, its cheap. more

Blech! Yucky food! 3/30/2006

This restaurant is pretty much known for not being very good, both in food quality and taste and service. It really is a place for people to go if they have no taste buds, or are too hungry to care what they eat. The restaurant does not seem to be the cleanest either. Overall, it is just not a great place to go. There are other places like this one that are similar in price and in menu items that are much better, so skip it entirely and go somewhere else. more

If you like smoke and grease.... 9/18/2005

Then go to Uncle Bills. If not, stay far away. This is definitely a late night hang out for those who are not too sober, or high school kids wanting to act cool. The service is average, nothing more. The food (mainly breakfast items) is cheap so you get what you pay for. It isn't very healthy so I try to stay away. If you are looking for a place to get some comfort food fast this is your place. more

nothing cures a hangover like pecan pancakes 8/16/2005

its a bavarian style breakfest house that sells porcalin tchochy, bottomless cups of coffy and the best pecan pancakes ive ever had. Open 24/7 with rotating smoking sections, Bills is a late night drinker's paradise. its not pretty, its not heathly, and its not expensive, which is why this resturant is just as about st louis as you can get. they dont have places like bills everywhere -- its a stl landmark. so have a 12 pack and mozy to bills. more

open late at nite 8/13/2005

My friends and I like to go there for mid-nite snacks. It’s located on south Kingshighway. It opens until very late. Good place to hang out after a night out. Their 'Spring Chicken' is yummy! They serve same kind of food as Steak-n-Shake, diners, IHOP… Only downside is that it’s a bit smoky in there. more

best pancakes in town! 7/7/2005

Just like the title says, this place has the best pancakes in town. not just that though, the only BUCKWHEAT PECAN PANCAKES in town. if you're in the mood for something different, these guys will alter their recipes (at a little extra cost), give you their best booth and find you a newspaper all with wonderful service. no place can really beat them anymore, as they're open 24hrs 365days per year. more
