After being a customer for a few years and spending a lot of $$$$. I just bought 2 lipo batteries, top of the line charger, new truck body & 1 connector for my son . When I returned the next day to exchange the connector. Somehow it was not on the receipt, and if you shop there you know they escort all parts to the counter for you. The sales person grabbed the connector and basically called me a thief. Not quite the customer service you would expect after being a loyal customer. They are willing to lose a good customer over a 3.99 connector. How simple it could have been just to admit they made a mistake and exchange a 3.99 part. LOST A CUSTOMER FOR GOOD. more

If your looking for great quality and for something that will last than yes this is the place if you want a cheap price and basic quality than go to www.bananahobby.com they have rc cars trucks boats helicopters and planes both these stores/websites are very great more

This hobby shop is probably the worst in Southern California in regards to customer service. When you call, they act like you are bothering them. You can stand in the store and no one will help you AT ALL. If you ask for help they will clearly show their negative disposition. Furthermore, when I brought up the bad service, they gave me even more of an attitude. I visited this store twice, and both times it has been the same story. \r \r I live in West Covina and I was looking for a hobby shop where I could spend my hard earned cash at. They did everything they could to make me resent them.\r \r I don't think they realize that in an industry that is hobby/recreation related the product they are actually selling is the service not the cars. I can get a car or related parts from anywhere, but what makes me come back is the service. This place lacks any sense of service and I will tell everyone I know not to shop at Ultimate Hobbies. more

the staff here are all very knowledgeable and they have a LOT of stuff. They will probably have what you want or can order it, though they are a bit on the pricey side of things. more

I was very impressed with this store. They have a huge supply of everything. Very courteous staff. They have had no problem answering my technical questions. Returns are easy, as long as you have a receipt. Prices are pretty good overall. I bought a Traxxas Rustler there for $135. You can't get a better deal than that. more
