U-Rent It Sales & Svc

NO NEXT TIME !! Went to rent a skid loader (bobcat) todo some dirt work,you know digging and moving dirt. After renting the machine ,(if thats what you call it), he brings it around and the bucket has a flat bar on it with no teeth .They get on the radio and we then find out the machine that has the bucket with teeth on it rents for more money. Whatever I'll make do with this thing. Get to the jobsite and crank it up get to working this so called machine and the pin that holds the hydrolic line to opperate the bucket fell out. Shut it down and knocked the pin back in only to find out the bolt is missing. I call the rental office and explain my problem , the machine is down and I have several hands out here getting paid todo nothing because your machine is down. After finally getting the manager that was gone to lunch.She tells me I have to bring the machine back and they can fix it .WHAT!!!! I almost lost it!!! I went to the hardware store found some allthread with a large washer and nut and fixed the problem myself. If you plan on getting your job done in a timely manner I suggest you drive alittle ways and get a machine that is properly maintained.AND NOT TO TERRELL TX. THERE EQUIPMENT IS EVEN WORSE.NOT TO MENTION THE SERVICE.. I'm not writting this after one incident.The last three times there equipment failed. They use to be convenient.From now on I'll be driving elsewhere.. The Mgr. and the service guy were nice it's just the equipment it SORRY!!! BEWARE! and just listen to the other reviews. more

Rented a two man post hole digger was I a hurry to get started on my project, heard the guys in the back start it thought it was good to go,helped them load it after the lady inside had troubles with the computer. We used it to drill 20 hloes could not get it to idle and the throttle would stick wide open every now and then. When we returned it, we told the so called manager the problems and he asked me why we took it if it did not work. We did not know that it did not operate properly at the time. We did cmplete the job but the equipment is rough and not well maintained. The guy was overly rude and wouldn't know the meaning of customer service if it slapped him in the face. This was my first and last time to step foot in their door and suggest you find somewhere else. more

Okay so I and others have rented from U-Rent It in Rockwall a few times. Their equipment is a bit on the ragged side but it's one of if not the only place in Rockwall to go. BEWARE: They do no maintain their equipment, and when it breaks (assuming you don't get hurt or your property isn't damage) you as the customer will be held responsible for all repairs and cost of extra time that it takes to return it. It's inconvenient to drive far to get equipment but in the end it is worth it. This last incident cost me enough money go out and buy the equipment outright. Eventually the manager takes care of it by meeting you half way on the extra cost but isn't exactly that friendly about it and argumentative. Luck of the draw I guess, but I wish I had the luxury of knowing their reputation before renting from there. I'll make the extra drive next time.
