Let me start of by saying that I found this place online and chose it after reading many of the positive reviews about it. I was purchasing a used car from a private seller around the area and needed to have it checked out before I bought it. I called first to see if this is something they can do for me and was transfered directly to the owner of the shop, Stephen. After briefly speaking with him we arranged that I would bring the car in later in that day. Asked for the price and was quoted somewhere around $30. I ended up coming in later that day with the owner of the car to have it looked at. He freaked out when he realized that the guys at Two Guys Auto where doing a very detailed inspection, he came up with a quick excuse and rushed me out of there... Fortunately not in time for the mechanics to be able to tell me what exactly is wrong with the car and unfortunately before one of the guys got to test drive it. Because of this they ended up not charging me anything. Later on that day I came in and had an hour discussion with the owner about what needed to be fixed and received a price quote. I was still a little unsure if I should buy the car without it being test driven by the mechanic. I expressed my concerns to them and Stephen offered to come with me to where the owner of the car lives and test drive it before I finalize my decision. We went there later on that day. Even with all the parts I had to replace I bought the car (it was a decent deal). Brought it back to the shop left it over the weekend while I took care of plates, registration and insurance and came back Monday to pick it up. The car was ready when promised, detail cleaned waiting for me outside. They replaced the brakes, the routers, the struts, fixed the flex pipe, my bumper, gave me an inspection and some other minor things and charged me LESS then what I was quoted.. Really honest guys. I've only had one other issue with the car since then. Something in my car was leaking. I took it in to them again. After well over an hours of hosing the car and pulling apart all the panels they finally found where the leak was coming from. I was told it needs to be sealed. I wanted clear sealant which they were out of so I ran over to AutoStrauss and bought it for $5. When I asked them how much I owe .... NOTHING.
I later recommended them to my cousin who was having transmission problems on his 02 Impala. He had the transmission replaced already once and was charged over $1K for a used transmission by a different shop. Two Guys ended up putting in a NEW transmission for him for only $200 or $300 bucks more... The car now drives flawlessly..
I would recommend to anyone. These guys know what they are doing and they are good at it. The customer always comes first and leaves satisfied.
