I used TV Max because I was required to at my apartment complex, and it has been a horrible experience. It's been said in previous reviews, but I would even go to the extent that I would not move into a new complex if that's the only cable provider they offered. My internet went down at least once a month for several days at a time. I made several wasted trips home during the day for them to look at my equipment, only to learn that it was their service down. They don't offer DVR, the audio quality is horrible on most channels, the service men I met were completely unprofessional, and I've had billing problems as well. Anything would be better than TV Max... Cons: Price, no DVR, frequent service outages more

I am assuming that TVMax signed the deal with all the apartment complexes before satelite and dvr really took off. They do not offer any of the premium services, but the price is still just as much as the other companies. Not to mention they had a tendency to forget to send a bill. I had to call them and ask for it, or wait until they send a disconnect notice. I turned several apartment complexes because the cable provider was TVMax, and didn't have a unit where I could get a dish. A couple of my friends did the same thing. Finally, you will notice that nobody that lives in a house has TVMax. That is because nobody actually wants it. The only people that have it are forced to have it. I don't know how TVMax is still in business! First off their programming is expensive and incomplete. They don't offer any kind of DVR service. Their customer service is a joke, unfriendly, incompetent and hostile. They are unorganized to the point where I have been double billed 3 seperate times! Their cable internet is expensive and painfully slow. I have switched to DSL and satelite and it is cheaper, faster, I have a DVR, and the service is friendly and helpful. I have told my Apt. complex to drop them also, and you can see the majority of units here have satelite dishes now, even the manager wants to switch. They use a secondary company for internet, their cable doesn't have the benefits of Time Warner. Run if you can. I now use DSL, and am working on getting satalite, because my complex only uses these dummies! Cons: Taking accountability, internet is 3rd party, They are terrible more

Miserable service. What else is there to say? If you have the option (unfortunately, in some apt complexes you don't), purchase the service from someone else. more
