Best

My son has been there for 2 years now and I have no complaints. I know the old director was described as brash at times, but I never experienced that. She is gone now anyway.

Worst

I am only mildly impressed with Tutor Time. I thought that this center would be better, but it is not. I had my children at Tutor Time by Oakleaf and the Direoctor was horrible....

Editorial review from Citysearch 4/24/2014

Just a terrible experience. I gave them a try because I was desperate and thought they may have improved since these reviews are old. Everything is still true, it's an ""anything goes"" atmosphere, we received lots of incident reports of biting, hitting, kicking, scratching (initiated by my child or another) but not much explanation as to how it happened, or WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR WATCHING THEM...? When I asked if my child was the problem they said no and pointed out some children who went home with multiple incident reports every single day.... Yet nothing is done to solve the problem. The front desk seem nice, but are clearly stressed and overworked, which can lead to some unprofessionalism. I could understand that and was able to ignore it. What I could not understand was the director, Miss Patti's, ""no time for anything"" attitude and completely disrespectful tone of voice, everyday. This facility is also FULL of viruses/germs. My son underwent at least 3 rounds of antibiotics in the few months he was there. He never did recover until being withdrawn from school, the doctor just refused to write more scripts for antibiotics, so he had to suffer through the illness. (As I'm sure the rest of his classmates were suffering through the same illness, unmedicated) There was one teacher we really liked who was only there in the mornings. I can say nothing good of any of the others. They looked spaced out, not caring nor nurturing.... At least my son was 3, able to talk, and stand up for himself. I would not recommend this place to anyone, but especially if you have a child under 2. more

A FAIR CENTER 12/20/2007

I am only mildly impressed with Tutor Time. I thought that this center would be better, but it is not. I had my children at Tutor Time by Oakleaf and the Direoctor was horrible. She never knew what she was doing. All she did was complain, but she was the manager and the problems were her poor management of the center. Food was skimpy at best and the care was marginal. I would suggest that people search elsewhere for a childcare center. Cons: Care isn't that good more

Tutortime VPK 11/6/2007

If you attend the orientation at tutortime, you will be briefed as to what will be taught to the kids. They do not enforce anything on children.I That's good or so I thought.\r Well, my daughter's 3 months of vpk in tutor time, I have realised what they meant by they dont enforce, meaning they do nothing.\r NADA. At the end of it all you will get is nothing. Your kids will learn four letter words, running around, indiscipiline. You can have your kid at home than send them to tutortime. It is dispicable. They do not have certified teachers. Teachers change every now and then.\r Tutortime at cr210 , you are not teaching our kids for free ,the government is paying you.\r \r There are NO PROS,CONS ,you name it more

Run, do not walk away from this place! 8/4/2006

Had appointment for tour today. Waited 20 minutes, being completely ignored, after being buzzed in and identifying myself and my purpose. While waiting, watched classrooms on monitors in reception area. Classes were overcrowded and children were clamoring for attention from "caregivers" who looked zoned out and who ignored them completely (I was beginning to know how they must feel...). Was absolutely horrified by looking into the "Infant A" room. A darling little baby girl, who someone had really taken the time to dress carefully and nicely this morning, was wailing while being held by her "caregiver" as far away as possible (as though she were garbage). The little girl's face was covered in dried tear tracks, she appeared dehydrated (I'm a certified nursing assistant) and her face was crimson. The "caregiver" seemed as though her face was frozen in a permanent deep scowl. She looked like she absolutely hated her job and hated that poor dehydrated little baby girl who had cried hersel more
