I'm a busy guy, and I like to do my own work as much as the next guy, but don't always have the chance. I've had different companies help me before, they all seem to have ulterior agendas beyond making me happy. Not these guys. They will treat you right. more

I've had different companies over the years, and most of them say one thing, then do another. I did the lawn myself for a while, then had an injury which prevented me from being able to. When Turf Technologies came calling I was skeptical that they would be any different from anyone else, but I was injured after all, so I gave them a shot. I have to say, they don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk too. I found it very comforting to know that the technician working on my lawn was not only the same guy every time, but he was a guy over 30 years fully licensed and insured. I asked him how many other guys doing the treatments are certified like that, he said they ALL are. So if Turf Technologies does your lawn, only certified properly insured and licensed technicians will be doing the treatments, no young kids. Again- peace of mind. I wasn't too sure why they tried to convince me not to seed in the spring, something about germination, anyway, they seeded and aerated in the fall and the lawn came out beautiful. They told me everything they were going to do, and then did exactly that. Can't place a value on that type of service more

Turf Technologies is a well organized company that sticks to their word. I met with one of their salesmen months ago to go over what I wanted (walkway,mulch and pruning). Every detail was translated from dream to reality. I am very satisfied with the finished product. You're not just a number there, they actually appreciate you're business. more

Have been using them for 6 years for my irrigation system annual service, maintainance, and startup/shutdown. After 6 weeks or promises to repair my system they still have not done it. Only more promises of we will be there next week. They have really gone downhill on thier service. Maybe they are more interested in new customers then maintaining old ones. Seems as though others have thought the same way...dont waste your time with them it will end in frustration. more

Sales people no longer affilated with Turf Technologies- terminated after season goals were met. Today is the first day of summer and they only showed up for 1 application, 2 weeks AFTER they said they would. Last contact was a phone call saying they would be here Thurs. or Fri. That was June 8th... Still a no show after 2 weeks (sounds like a trend). Their prices are good, but even if services were free I would be EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!!!!! Don't waste your time with this company. If there was negative stars, thats what they would get!!! more

I spoke with a sales guy earlier this year and they gave me some good pricing for the year. I've been happy with the service and the ladies in the office are always willing to help and are nice to talk to. more

Considering the weather this season, my lawn still looks really good. They got rid of the weeds and crabgrass and my grass is greening up. I look forward to next season with them. more

Turf Technologies is by far, ""the worst lawn service."" I was quoted a price and when I got the bill it was much more than the original agreement. Now they are retracting on the agreement. I work from home so I was able to observe their work on the first day. The man arrived and was here for approx. 15 minutes. I would call it a spot treatment. I called and complained, they said they would send someone for another treatment and it should have been full coverage the whole lawn. I never saw anyone. I have dead grass and lots of weeds and this is after three treatments since the spring. more

I have weeds, lots of them and calling Turf Technologies for service is worse than talking to a wall...you don't even how that the wall won't call back Hire someone who cares about you. Pros: Yard is green Cons: Green from weeds more

If you're going to hire a lawn company isn't it reasonable to expect your lawn to be green and mostly free of weeds. Well I'm not sure what chemicals they put down, but if there was money in owning a dandelion farm I'd be rich! Dandelions, clovers and violets are in abundance in my yard. I called 3 times to get them to come out and treat the issue and nothing, zip, not a phone call, not a visit, not a message...I've been completely ignored. Guess what I'll do if I get another invoice from them??? Pros: They'll say what's necessary to get the business Cons: They simply don't deliver on quality or service more

This year was one of the worst summers in recent history. It seems like we went months with no rain and all 90 degree weather. But with guidance from my lawn guys I made it through and my lawn is unbelievable thick and green. I started to lose my lawn in early June when the hot weather started and my guy told me to up my watering twice a day instead of once every other day. My lawn survived the summer and now is still one of the greenest lawns in my town. It takes some work on my part to keep up with the mowing and watering, but I listened to the experts advice and I couldn't be any happier. This is much better than doing it myself. I lost my lawn 2 years in a row because they were too stupid to put down the grub control on time even though I mentioned it to them many times. They said they would repair my lawn but guess what? THEY DIDN'T! Pros: Not a thing Cons: Don't know what they're doing more

My lawn got progressively worse over the 2 years I had their service. Brown spots, crab grass, bare spots. Both neighbors on either side of me did their own Scotts 4 Step program and had MUCH better lawns than my ""professionally cared for"" lawn. We all water about the same amount. Service has gone downhill too. 50% of the time they don't call before coming out - they're supposed to give you a day or two's notice. Or if they do call on Monday saying someone will be out Tuesday or Wednesday, they don't show up until Friday (with no adverse weather having occurred) which affects my weekend mowing plans. Nobody answers their phones anymore, maybe they let the super nice lady go? Return phone calls are rare. But the sales calls for ""extra"" services keep coming. I cancelled the service for this year mainly to save money but also some hassle (and so did my co-worker from another town). We're both doing the Scotts program now and our lawns are the best they've been in many years! Cons: High cost to obtain such poor results, more

Let me just first say Im a fanatic when it comes to my lawn (and it helps living in my neighborhood). The staff at Turf Technologiesand Mike especially have been nothing short of spectacular! I never would have thought a lawn in New England could be as close to perfect as mine has been with this company,.....YEAR 'ROUND! (with the exception of winter of course). Quality products and fair pricing are just an added bonus to the knowledge, experience, and service i receive from my tech. He ALWAYS has the solution to any issues and if he doesnt know he know immediately, he finds out (often with a phone call within the company). I would recommend Turf Tech to anyone in the Hopkinton area and to ask for Mike- he always has time for me no matter how often I call or how picky I get. The office staff has been professional and courteous to me each time i have called and although ive had to leave messages my calls were always returned in a reasonable amount of time. If you're looking for a quality company Turf Tech is the way to go. Ive been a Turf Technologies customer for 2 years now, and my lawn looks better than it ever has! I used another company once and my lawn never looked as green and lush as it does now! The company is local, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you get their voice mail when you call, your call is returned; you arent left hanging and wondering whats next. The girls in the office are friendly and helpful; I have spoken to Dianne several times and she always goes the extra mile for us. We hope to do business with Turf Technologies forever! We are beyond happy with Turf Tech. We live in Millis and were psyched to find out that they service this area. We heard from many friends how wonderful this company was so we had to find out for ourselves and we are so glad we did. We will never go with another company ever. It saved my husband so much time having Turf Tech do it not to mention things are guaranteed and the grass looks the best out of the entire neighborhood. The prices are wonderful. We have used Turf Tech for our lawn service for 2 years now. We had a few issues the first year, but the second we called to ask them to fix it they would do it. You never have to call and speak with an answering machine, it's great having a one-on-one tech and sales person to deal with and not having to deal with several different people because it means that 2 people know your lawn inside and out. We couldn't say enough about this company. We plan to continue to use them and use them for more of our landscaping needs in the near future. more
