Water Heater Service 1/29/2017

Steve arrived during the estimated appointment time window. He was professional and solved the problem I'd been having with my water heater. Now my shower head has lots of pressure and plenty of hot water. I would highly recommend Steve and Five Star. more

Paul came out in an emergency. We were leaving the next day and we woke up to a sewer back-up. I called Five Star and they got Paul out mid-day to find the problem and to clear the line. He was courteous and professional and fast. Thank you, Five Star. more

Hot water heater self destruction 1/5/2017

Woke up to a shower that would not get hot, No hot water from any facet. Went under my home to find the hot water heater tits up, Leaking from the inside. With my Duke energy plan Five Star was contacted and within 1 hr. I was contacted with tenitive date and time for that evening or 0930 next morning. Robbie was on time and very professional, Answered all my questions and great at customer service. Explained all the new and improved tubing and facts about the new hot water tank. I will with out a doubt contact Five Star with all my plumbing and electrical needs. more

Water Heater Service Call 11/20/2016

Jack was the tech that handled my request, discolored water on the hot water side of my plumbing system. He arrived earlier than expected and greeted me with his introduction and a smile. He began to explain what he would be doing to correct the problem. He handled the work in a short time and explained to me what other things inside the heater could be causing my problem. After several flushes of the water heater it seemed to clear up my problem. Jack was very professional and knowledgeable and took time out to explain other things that might be the problem if this problem returned and advised me before leaving to call if this resurfaces again. I would definitely recommend Five Star Plumbing for future plumbing problems. more

Paid $300 for a cleaning of mini split system but the problem still persisted 11/1/2016

Devin K arrived on time. He was courteous. However, he did not a deep clean of the system as I requested. The system functioned correctly. The issue was that my tenant complained of a bad smell. The technician said the system, which is only 5 years old, should be replaced because the system cannot be cleaned any further. He said a mini split system is meant to be a "disposable" system. I was shocked by this comment. I believe this technician was not ethical and just wanted me to spend money unnecessarily. more
