Early in every season I have a lot of violet in my yard and usually have to call for another spray. I don't know if they are coming out too early or what. I have also gotten notes about winter damage...I don't know if this is from this winter or next. It would be great if they could mark the damage somehow...a ribbon perhaps. But your specialists are ALWAYS so polite and professional! I love the advance calls about you coming out because then I can unlock the yard and keep the pets indoors! more

My lawn has been looking better than it has for years since I began TruGreen service earlier this year. The lawn service specialist has been very prompt meeting his scheduled service time. He is also friendly, very knowledgeable and professional in accomplishing his job. He has done a very effective job in improving the looks of my lawn. I believe that I have received good value for the money spent with TruGreen service. I believe that TruGreen is the best value in lawn care for the price. more

So far, the lawn is looking pretty good, better than last year. I will attribute part of that to the service provided by TruGreen. In addition, I feel the cool weather and ample rain have been pluses as well. Keep up the good work! more

I always get great service! I can count on TruGreen to consistently do the job. Only one time the dog got out because the back door gate was not shut. My suggestion would be that if a technician has a situation, could he/she please leave a note informing us that the gate looks shut but it is not in the frame to lock it? Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback! more

Called to report MANY WEEDS in our side yard after our first application, and got a quick reply to sending a tech to do the second application...too early to tell so far, but my wife was satisfied the tech did a thorough job. We'll have to wait a bit and see what happens. I expect the weeds to be gone soon. more

The technician (Nicholas Hersinger) was very courteous and was very responsive to my concerns on the condition of my lawn. His supervisor (Steve Ahillen) was also very helpful in addressing my lawn issues. Steve informed me that he will be following up with a visit to my home in the near future to personally inspect the condition of my yard & help with its recovery. more

Wrecked my yard 2/15/2012

Hired TruGreen to handle our rougly 1 acre yard. Did not come out to do an initial assessment. FYI-looking at your lawn from a satellite does not show crabgrass so they did not put down [proper pre-emergents for it. Crabgrass took over 2/3 of my lawn quickly. Technicians coming out (very nice & courteous guys) said we need to change course so I notified the office. Office staff kept scheduling wrong applications even though I asked them to stop. And yes they kept sending the bills even though applications were not authorized. Now my lawn is erroding from lack of ground cover and TruGreen's solution is a $800+ package for applications this year. That is with me doing all the major work (seed, straw, aeration, etc). I would not recommend. more

When I found myself in the position of having to take care of my own yard, I knew nothing. So, I hired ChemLawn to take care of the fertilizing, weeding, watching for bugs. They did treatments every few months that I thought were pricey. Almost every time they did a treatment there was something else I needed -- this and that was wrong with my yard. So, knowing nothing, I believed (for a while). After a year with their service, my yard looked worse than it did when I started. It was a lot of money spent and aggravation for nothing. Also I had a different person each time the yard was sprayed, so no one ever "got to know" my yard. Poor use of my time and money. PROS: CONS: expensive, always wanting more money, no results more

You will have a lush green lawn with them! 7/19/2005

This company came out and gave us a free estimate they were very reasonable and with in a week the were out here treating our yard. They got rid of all the weeds and some areas that we had no grass growing they treated we now have a lush dark green soft lawn with no weeds you can set them up to come out as often as you wish also they go to most areas. PROS: beautiful yard and affordable prices CONS: NONE more
