We contacted Troys in August to have our freezer door replaced because it had a slight leak in the water line and it was still under warranty. After the repairman looked at the door and said he would order a new one we never heard from Troys again. In late September we contacted them regarding the status of the order (it took 4 phone calls before we got through to someone who didn't say they would "call us back in 24 hours" but never did.) and were told that the door had never been ordered. We called back incessantly until the end of October, each time being informed that they couldnt' get in contact with our warranty company. I finally took matters into my own hands and contacted the warranty company who called Troys within 1 hour and told them to get moving. The repairmen showed up in mid-November with a new door, they removed my old freezer door, opened the package and discovered that they had ordered the wrong color door. The reconnected my old door, the water line and packed up and left. After they left my freezer began hemorraging water, I contacted Troys who told me repairmen would be out ASAP. 3 hours later I called back and was informed that since they didn't have a door for me they wouldn't bother coming out. I asked if they could send someone to make sure the door had been re-installed correctly and was told "no and that if I had any common sense I would have unhooked the water line back when we discovered the small leak". I took care to inform Troy, whom I was talking to, that his repairmen were in fact the people who had made sure the water line was working and hooked up prior to their leaving after re-installing my old door. Needless to say we are heading into the 3rd week of November, Troys still wont come out, my new door hasn't arrived and my freezer is still hemorraging water despite the water being shut off.
Pros: I don't think there is one
Cons: poor repair quality & demeaning treatment of customers
