Trio Tire and Auto Service Center

I recently needed to get a lot of work done on my chevy truck and went looking for a place to take it. After some searching and speaking with collegues, i decided to take my truck to Trio Tire. First, let me say that the guys there are extremely nice and friendly. I told them what I needed done and they said there was no problem. He explained to me that other parts of my truck were more prone to wear with the parts that were already worn and they would give me a call if they ran in to any problems. The did call me half way through and reccomend that I replace a couple of other parts while they were in there and gave me a price. I went for it. They are very trust worthy guys who know what they are talking about. Not once did I ever get discouraged. My parents, my sister and myself have been going here for tire work for the better part of a decade. I've always enjoyed the service I received here. When there has been a problem with a tire, Bob has brought me into the shop to show me. If they cannot get me a good price on a tire, they're happy to install a tirerack order. I can't speak directly to the other negative reviews (and I've never had anything other than tire work performed here), but my family's experience has always been positive and I'll continue to give them my work until disappointed. Be careful. I went there due to a recommendation and I regret it. First I went and had brake work done. They did a great job, however, when I went to a different mechanic to get new tires put on, they couldn't get my one tire off. They said whoever (Trio Tire) put my tire back on did not put the lug nuts all the way back on. One post was stripped and had to be broken off. I confronted Trio Tire and they blamed the place that put my new tires on. Fine. I got screwed and no one would fess up. I decided to go back to Trio as it was most convenient. Had the lug nut replaced. They never called me like they said to tell me if any other work needed to be done and if the car was ready. They did extra work without my permission and I ended up with a $76 bill. On top of that, as I was driving home, my hood was bouncing up and down. I had to pull over on a highway to close my hood. When I called Trio Tire, I questioned them as to why they would need to be under my hood if they were just replacing posts and lug nuts. After several ""hold ons"" I of course got the answer, ""Well it may have been an accident"". Well now there is something wrong with my car locks. BEWARE!!!! Wish I would have seen the other review before mine!!! Now I have to go schedule an appointment somewhere else and pray I don't get ripped off once again. more

I had a very different experience than the other person listed. I had thrown a serpentine belt in Camden and needed a tow and repairs. The guys at Trio were great, got a towing company that was very prompt and reasonable and then gave me a very accurate estimate on repairs doing only what I specified and listing some other items to watch out for that could result in future repairs if not addressed. Very courteous and the work was completed at the time they promised. more

Avoid going there for repairs. They are perhaps OK for fixing or purchasing a tire, but that is about it. The estimate that I was given was off by approx. 25%. They did repairs that were unauthorized. When a problem later appeared, they were unwilling to stand behind their work and their guarantee.
