Trinity Waste Systems

The trash guys took my garbage can last week with no explanation, when I called to find out why, NOBODY knew and told me I would have a new can on the next pickup day, a week away. Okay, so I round up a garbage can so my stuff isn't scattered all over the neighborhood by animals and I wait. Today they emptied my temporary can and guess what? It's after 5:00 and I still don't have a can. Am I really going to continue to pay for this abuse? NO! more

I would avoid using Trinity if possible.\r \r I had many bad experiences with Trinity. Once they did not pick up my trash during the summer. When I called to find out why, I was told I didn't pay. Apparently they misplaced my check but never decided to call before cancelling my service. \r \r Later, I paid my bill and within a day I found out that Fort Mill had annexed my neighborhood into the town and we would get free trash pickup. I immediately called them and said I would cancel my check since we no longer required their services. They said not to worry, they would pickup my trash for the 1 week I needed them and mail my refund. It has now been over 8 months, and they've never sent my money. I've made 4 phone calls and they tell me they'll mail my refund every time but never do. It's a shame that they are so dishonest. more

We have used Trinity Waste since we came to Charlotte ten years ago and have had no problems. They have always been courteous when we called, were always willing to pick up unusual items or make special trips. We were excited when we called Trinity. Our neighbors had been using them and we assumed that everything had been going smoothly. We live on a dead end street, which means they have to pass us twice to get out, yet each week they either missed picking up our trash or our recycling. This went on for the entire billing cycle and all we got when we called was ""My supervisor is going to send someone out."" Which usually meant we will try again next week.\r We canceled their service at the beginning of the month and their cans are still at our house two weeks later. We have been calling to have them come pick them up and we still get ""My supervisor said he will send someone out."" That was three days ago. Don't use them. It's not worth the headache.\r We found a new company who says they actually dock their employees hours if they miss your house. Ahhh, now that's much better. more

Had the competition who was terrible at communication and picking up recyclables. Changed to Trinity and have not had an issue in six months. Good people. Pros: They do what they say they will, when they promise. Cons: none so far more

terrible service! If you want your recyclables picked up 1 of 4 weeks a month, this is the trash company for you. If you enjoy bringing your trash to the curb and then back in the garage because they missed your house again, this is the company for you. If your other neighbors just resign themselves to bi-weekly trips to Sun Valley High for recycle drop off, this is the company for you. If you like being told their are no refunds if they call you back week after week this is the company for you.
