Wonderful salon 4/28/2008

Being new to the area I called a salon within walking distance of our temporary housing to make an appointment to get my hair trimmed and highlighted.When they let me know that they require a credit card on file before they would make an appointment for me I knew I had no interest in going there.The next step was to go on line and see what I could find. I FOUND TRICHOLOGY!!! After reading all of the reviews I decided to give them a try and made an appointment with their newest designer, Jodi. She was wonderful. Very friendly,very knowledgable,and very accomodating. My color turned out beautiful (in fact the best it has ever been since I started having it colored),and the trim was just what I needed to make my hair a little more managable. I will definitely be staying with Trichology and with Jodi. Thank you so much!! Carol L. more

No ""Flowbee"" hair cut!! 1/21/2008

I finally found a salon and a stylist who can cut hair. Elle gives a great mens cut. No more FLOWBEE hair cuts like a used to get at a barbershop. Awsome ... more

THE BEST! Top Notch! Much better than LUSH! 12/3/2007

My first visit was perfect! color, cut, service, atmosphere. Jessica listened to everything I asked for and gave me that and then some! Lush is overrated, dont bother! 40 somethings dont be afraid to try this salon! They do not speak down to you if you are not 20 something like other salons. The price is definately worth every pennie here. The comfort, cleanliness, no loud music blaring, no attitude. Just straight really great cuts, color and experience. Jessica is a magician. You can tell these ladies are truly perfectionists! Please dont go somewhere that makes you put down a credit card before you go there, it is not right! Give Trichology a try! They really are THE best! The only downside is you are so relaxed when you leave you really want to take a nap. Also, no high upselling! more

PROFESSIONAL salon where the sylists actually know how to do hair ! 12/2/2007

If BLONDE is your color , JESSICA has mastered it ! After visiting other ""popular"" salons in INDY & CARMEL, I've found THEE PLACE !!!! The staff is friendly , very welcoming ... & PROFESSIONAL ! They have a superior knowledge of hair that is surpassed by none . They DO NOT require you to give your credit card number that they will keep on file like other salons . I come from Scottsdale AZ where blonde is an art ! Jessica definately has the touch . I visited another well known salon where I was greeted by a staff who felt a pretentious attitude would cover their lack of skill to do hair . Who needs customer service like that ? I am in the public eye & need to look the part . Since visiting Trichology , I've continued to get numerous compliments on my beautiful color , healthy hair , and great cut ! THANKS JESSICA ! Pros: Warm & relaxing salon where you can focus on being pampered ! more

Elle is truely an amazing and talented hairstylist! 11/14/2007

Elle is a stylist in my salon and has been doing my hair for about 10 months. As a stylist I am hard to please, but Elle does it perfect every time! She is artistic and takes initiative on creating new looks. Every client has shiny, healthy, gorgeous hair when they leave the salon. She has years of experience (numerous clients have followed her throughout her career) and I trust her more than any stylist I have ever been to. I hope that this review may help someone looking for a new stylist. I keep up on reviews with ?other? salons, and in comparison if you are looking for gorgeous affordable hair that you can style, then she is your girl. Best Man's Haircut This Side of Florida 7/13/2007

I've been to about every hair salon on this side of Indy for the last 20 years and have never got as good a haircut and style as I get at a salon I visit in Florida. In fact I always kid Steve, my stylist down there, that I have to travel 1200 miles just to get a decent haircut....that is until I had my first appointment with Uma at Trichology Salon! She is a true artist and you can tell she really enjoys her artistry. I've been back several times now, and always am extremely satisfied. The salon is great too, all the stylists are fun and make for a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The ""extra"" touches like the head and neck message alone make the visit super relaxing and enjoyable. (Plus, Uma is a lot better looking than Steve ;>) ) Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

My long lost hair salon! 6/21/2007

Finally I have found a hair salon that meets my style needs and style budget! Today I had high/low lights done by Jessica and I was amazed at how she not only listened to my ideas, but carried them through and then did such a wonderful job styling my hair afterwards. I didn?t even have to go home and re-do it! For the past 4 years I have been hopping all over town to just about every spa and salon in Indy (you name it, I?ve probably been there) hoping to find one that is (1) close by (2) personable (3) not outrageously expensive for a stay at home mom?s budget (4) trendy & stylish. I knew it was out there, it just took me a while to find it. The salon is clean, calming, chic and like a breath of fresh air. I really can?t say enough good things about it and can?t wait until my next apt. Thank you Citysearch and Jessica! Pros: I didn't have to wait weeks to get an apt! Cons: Wish I had found it sooner - would have saved me 2 bad haircuts more

Cool salon with talented stylist. 6/15/2007

If you ever feel like your in a hair rut, try this salon. Very cool place with talented stylists. I've been to Jessica and have had perfect hair for months now. I'm one of those clients that likes to bring in pictures and change up my style here and there. She does a consult everytime and listens to me! She asks me how things have been going with my color and cut, and then it's in her hands. I've been very pleased with my color to cover my greys, with some added highlights up top, really natural looking. My husband has even noticed and complimented me on my hair (I love that!) It is easy to style now with a good cut, and she even taught me how to roundbrush it myself. It's nice to have a salon where I feel comfortable, enjoy the other stylists, and leave with beautiful hair. Pros: Ambience, 5 star service, Pureology products more

Attention to detail. 6/15/2007

I highly recommend Jessica, at Trichology. She welcomes me with a smile, offers me a beverage, gives a great scalp massage and finishes with a perfect haircut. The salon has a unique and relaxing environment. The other stylists are fun too, they all have a great personality. The attention to detail in my haircut and visit to the salon are unbeatable! Best cut and Color 6/8/2007

I just had a excellent experience at Tricology. Jessica is wonderful! When I left the salon I was looking and feeling great, she gave me the best cut and color I've ever had. She had great ideas and when I left I knew exactly what to do to maintain my style. I love the casual, friendly atmosphere and was very impressed with Jessica's knowlege of color. etc. I will be highly recommending this salon to my friends and family. Bad cut 6/2/2007

I got the absolute worst haircut at this expensive salon. I showed Jessica a picture of a sleek bob that would be quick and easy to maintain with minimal styling required. It had no layers. She thought it was a good choice. I then showed her a picture of a heavily layered bob. In this picture, the wispy layers were flipped up ? a cutesy faddish cut that requires lots of styling maintenance, and should not be worn by anyone over the age of 20. I'm 51. I made it very clear that this was not what I wanted. To make a long story short, I walked out with a heavy layered cut. She said I would need to do lots of blowdrying with a round brush. And, if I was not able to use a round brush, I should buy a hair dryer that has a built in round brush dryer. Not my bag. I like a quick ceramic iron and I?m off. To add insult she told me I could turn the layers up into a wispy flip!?!?! Pros: Elle -- she's experienced & spirited more

Elle is the best! 5/14/2007

From the first time she cut me hair my life got better. My dog does not bark at me anymore, kids do not tease me about my ""out of date look"",(what does ""dingleberry"" mean anyway?) my boss gave me a promotion,( and will not stop hitting on me now,) I won a small amount of money from the lotto, and my home sold for way more then what I was asking. There are a lot of things I could credit this to but I think it all has to do with having good hair. Elle showed me how good hair is important and she was right. She cut my hair and brought my look into this century. She is the best at what she does. I do not live near by but it is always worth the long trip to get there. It's a nice new place and all the girls are always a riot! My dog and I thank you Elle!!! Color disasters corrected! 5/1/2007

Have you just had a major color disaster? If so, then call Jessica Deetz! I first saw Jessica at the salon she used to work at after my previous stylist completely messed up my color. In no time at all Jessica gave me beautiful chocolate brown color with caramel highlights. I couldn't believe how easy she made it seem! I have since become a loyal customer and followed Jessica to the opening of her new salon in Carmel. Having tried three colorists in Indianapolis before finding Jessica, I would never go anywhere else. The personalized attention is fanastic and Jessica not only knows how to color, she knows how to style. Have you ever walked out of a salon hating the way your hair was styled? This will NOT happen to you if you go to Jessica. The salon is relaxing and inviting. You can't go wrong with Trichology. Pros: Color, style, atmosphere, personalized service Cons: Can't think of one! more

Great Experience! 4/3/2007

I am one of those 20-somethings that has neglected their hair for awhile - I was ready for a change, and ready to treat my hair better! I found Trichology on Citysearch and it appeared to be highly recommended so I decided to give it a try - I wasn't disappointed! I went in with a pretty general idea of what I wanted - Jessica spent a long time highlighting, cutting and styling my hair and it turned out great! Even my very picky boyfriend loves it! She was very friendly, easy to talk to and answered all of my questions very well. The salon itself is nice, new and comfortable. It was a relaxing, enjoyable experience and I will definitely be going back. more

Jessica is the very best! I started going to her last summer when we moved here from out of state. She came highly recommended from the gals in my neighborhood.
