Have used both stores for 10+ years, though live closer to Woodcroft so use that store more. Great customer service, very helpful in their hardware and paint areas. Very convenient and quick to get in, get help, and be on your way. Do not buy my meds here so can't comment on prescription services. Have used the rental services with both good and disappointing results, e.g. rented a circular saw that had a dull blade. Yes, I can take it back and they would change the blade, but it's unnecessarily inconvenient. All tool and equipment rentals should be checked and tuned upon return before being rented to the next customer. more

Great Customer Service 9/13/2009

We love the Triangle Pharmacy True Value Hardware store! We tentatively began patronizing the store after moving to the area in 2007. Friendly, knowledgeable customer service, making even the most tentative customer (I'm female) comfortable is a hallmark. An interesting variety of general options are available; we'd never heard of a combined hardware AND pharmacy before. Add a rental section, garden stuffs and sundry items and you've got the perfect neighborhood stop that spares you from having to travel to and then navigate a limited service Big Box. True Value also carries Benjamin Moore paint--the only brand we use. We couldn't be more satisfied customers and now, after two years, True Value is the place we go first. Pros: Customer Service, Location, Variety, Parking Cons: Smaller Selection Than Big Box more

Great Hardware Store and Great Pharm 4/1/2009

I've been trading here since 1983. I grew up doing construction work and doing various crafts, so I'm pretty confident in my own experience, but they have helped me on a wide variety of projects with the exact right materials, rental equipment, advice and even with my health needs. Paint color matching, keys, lawnmower blades sharpened glass cutting - you name it. What a great place! Pros: Expert advice, excellent service Cons: None that I know of more

Less than dynamic pharmacists 8/14/2007

When I moved into the area I took my prescriptions to Triangle Pharmacy because it was convenient. Because one prescription needed to be renewed, the pharmacy said they would contact the doctor for authorization. Ten days later, and after several inquiries by me, they still had not gotten the renewal. ""The doctor never called us back"" was the excuse. When I asked if they had called a second time they said they had not. In the meantime I had been ten days without my medication and they seemed not to care. This pharmacy badly needs pharmacists who undertand that their duty is to get medication to patients and not to just go through the motions. I went to Walgreens and had my prescriptions the next day! Pros: Good selection in hardware, but pricey Cons: Pharmacy not reliable more

I like this store! 6/4/2005

I have shopped at Triangle Pharmacy for more than 20 years. I have found the service and prices to be very good. Yes, occassionally there will be an employee who is not up to snuff but a quick chat with someone who has been there awhile will take care of any problem or need that is not being met. I give this store a big thumbs up! Pros: good prices, good service, go the extra mile Cons: selection a bit small more

Good Rhymes Bad Service 11/8/2002

Whoa, Talk about a lack of customer service. Watch out for these folks. Listen to this....reserved a slit seeder for Friday on Monday, went to pick it up and it was broken. Reserved for next weekend, called again on Monday to make sure it was getting fixed. Employee #1 says..."" We'll call you when it is ready,definitely ready for you on Saturday"". I call back on Friday because I have heard nothing. Employee #2 answers (#1 is not there). ""We have fixed it and have already rented that one, SORRY"" This ""mom and pop"" must not need the business..... HomeDepot here I come!! Steer clear of these bumblers. Not that Nice! 11/8/2002

People beware of the rental department here.... My experince(s) have been very disappointing. I shall never return. Customer service is NOT a priority for these folks... rude, uninformed, substandard, and quite nasty.... Again, BEWARE Pros: funny signs out front Cons: poor service, surly, no communication more
