Tri-County Furntr Strippg & Refinshg

I would recommend Tri County Furniture to anybody! I called them when my sister passed away last year and left me our mom's dining room outfit. It was unbeknownst to me at the time, and my sister and I were very close so it meant a lot to me. The set needed to be refinished, so I went online looking at different refinishing places close to me. I called Jerry, and I asked to set up an appointment with him since I had never had anything refinished before. There were a lot of big pieces, and I wanted to make sure they were done with quality. When I went in, he took the time to show me the type of work they do and the options I had. I went home and talked with my husband, and he said to go ahead and get it done. I had to wait until my sister's house was sold, since they wanted to show it furnished. As soon as it did, I called Jerry, and the furniture was picked up. Since it was close to the holidays, I told him I wasn't in a hurry to have the work done. I told him whenever they got to it, that would be great. Jerry came out to my home to get a feel for the other furniture and woodwork I had, and then I went down to the shop to pick out a color. I was concerned about it working with everything else in my house. I took the time to pick out the color, and then I went back again after it had been stained to pick out the finish I wanted for a high gloss. When it was finished, they brought it to my house, and it looks fantastic! They did a beautiful job on it! All my family members were in awe of how beautiful it looks. I cannot speak of Tri County Furniture highly enough! more

Tri County Furniture took the old paint off of some shutters for me. It was a difficult job and they did it well. The shutters are about 100 years old and are made out of a very rare wood. They were able to get all of the paint off without bandaging the joints. That was pretty impressive. The technicians were also very timely and courteous. more

I like the fact that Tri County Furniture is a small business and know what they're doing. I took my cabinet doors there so they could get sanded and repainted. They did a beautiful job and provided me with matching paint that I could have at home. They were timely and they did a really good job. more

Tri County Furniture is just lovely. Jerry is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was also mindful of my budget. I called them to refinish an antique table and some chairs and they did a truly wonderful job. They were punctual in getting the job done within the time I wanted and were very professional from start to finish. I'd highly recommend them. more

We started going back to Tri County Furniture about a year ago, and they've stripped a whole bunch of parts for us. They do what they say they are going to do, and they keep it simple. They say they will get it done at "this price" and in "this time," and that's what they've done. more

Tri County Furniture is great! I hired them to strip and refinish an antique secretary desk and they definitely did a beautiful job. I was very pleased with the results, though I've been meaning to call them back to fix just one little thing with it. The prices were reasonable. Tri County Furniture is wonderful! I've used Jerry for furniture stripping for probably 25 years, and he always does a wonderful job. He does extra things that I'm not expecting, and his pricing is reasonable. The last time I used them I needed four pieces of furniture back pretty quickly. They said it was no problem, and they got the pieces back to me within two weeks. In the time I've been using them, I've also never had to call them back out to do anything. The furniture is always perfect when I get it back from them. The men who deliver the furniture were wonderful. They kept moving things around for me because I couldn't decide where I wanted everything. They are very good, and I wouldn't use anybody else! more

Tri County Furniture did upholstery and furniture stripping and it turned out okay. The furniture was good but one chair had to go back because it wasn't fixed correctly. We're still waiting on the cushions from the chair. They're good about answering the phone and are very personable. However, they could work on their timing. I like their work but they don't get things done in a timely fashion. more

I'm very pleased with Tri-County Furniture. I've used them multiple times for the past five years and find them to be very reliable. They're easy to deal with and are very responsive. They do everything that they tell you that they're going to do. Jerry has a knack for color work and has always presented me with excellent workmanship. Everyone else that I've had the pleasure of talking to with there is professional, polite, and competent. I'm pretty happy with the prices since I receive such quality service. I wouldn't say that they're expensive at all. They've refinished nightstands to an entire dining set for me before and they always have take care of my furniture with great precision. They have done very good job refinishing furniture for me. Some of the pieces I didn't think they could rehabilitate and they did a great job. I have used them on and off for 5 or 6 years and each time they do a great job. I am pretty laid back about how long it should take to be sent back to me but they do a pretty good job with that. more

I used Tri County Furniture to restore old furniture. I had a couch and a chair from the 1920's that needed their springs to be replaced. They also needed to be recovered. Jerry took care of that for me and it looks beautiful! He really did an excellent job. more

I had two pieces of furniture that have been in my family for a while. At some point someone had painted some of the pieces. My husband and I tried to strip them ourselves but soon realized we were in way over our heads. We had a coupon from Tri-County, so we decided to give them a try. The pieces came back beautifully, I get compliments all the time on how they look now. more

Tri County Furniture took a bookcase I had and refinished it. They put it back together and so forth, and they did a good job. I had them pick it up under unusual circumstances. The pieces were scattered around, and it was possible to miss some, but they found everything and did the work. It made me very happy, since if they had overlooked something, it would have been difficult to replace. more

I hired Tri County Furniture to do living room furniture upholstery work. Their work was been good, but the completion time took longer than I was quoted. Their sales people and their workers were fine. I would use them again in the future because their work was excellent. more

I've been a customer for Tri County Furniture for about 8 or 9 years. I worked with Jerry mostly and he was very helpful. I liked the fact that they picked up the delivery. They weren't quite on time with some of the orders we have. They've redone our porch furniture and recovered it. They did a wonderful job refinishing our dining room table and the chairs. I have been going to Tri County Furniture for 20 years now. They've done a lot of work for me, including antique furniture refinishing, upholstery, and recovery. I like Jerry; he's a very friendly person. He is very fair and tells you what work needs to be done. They load and unload the furniture for me. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I've never had problems with them and have recommended them multiple times in the past. more

The quality of work with Tri County Furniture was superb. They took an old, very expensive chair that belonged to my grandmother and they stripped the leg with a french provincial paint as well as did some stitching on the top. The chair looks phenomenal. There is one piece of stitching that isn't quite what I wanted, so I'd give them a 4.5 stars but I know that I am picky and they are very talented at what they do. more

I had Tri County Furniture restored one piece of furniture and refinished another. Both are absolutely beautiful. My only suggestion for their customers is that they plan for extra time to get the projects completed around the holidays. more
