When our cars transmission went out, we had noone to recommend to us any place to take it for repairs. We looked in the phonebook and at reviews on the internet. It was our lucky day that we decided on your company. Transmission Corporation of America had GREAT reviews and alot of them so it was an easy decision. Everyone was really nice to us. The manager, Angel, was very knowledgable when it came to the parts of my transmission and what they did and why they were bad. They showed me all my parts and I got my car back in 3 days, and in better condition than it was before it tore up. I will never use anyone else now except for Transmission Corporation of America for any of my repairs or maintenance. Pros: very knowledgable manager Cons: none more

first i needed my truck fixed for my new business and i had "x" number of dollars. i asked angel what the worse would be and it was in the range. so she fixed it and it was less than the worst! next i use to own a car lot and i asked angel about various cars that i am considering buying for the wife and my self. angel knew the answer to every question without hesitation. that is impressive!!! i would highly recommend this location for all of your automotive needs. We bring all 3 of our cars to Transmission Corporation of America for their service and maintenance. Anytime we need anything done to our cars, we take them down to their shop and they completely look over our cars to make sure there are no problems before they service them. There have not been any problems yet. I'm glad we found such an honest shop that doesn't try to sale things to us all the time for stuff we don't need. Fixing a car is a very stressful thing. You always wonder if the work will be quality and if the price will be fair. I am pleased to say I was pleasantly surprised by the services you provided! Not only was I treated fairly, but my car now runs better than it ever has before. No matter how many questions I had, they were all answered. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! We went out of town and on the way back into tennessee our van broke down. We called Transmission Corporation of America to see if they could tow our van to their shop and check it out. We were about 65 miles away from there shop. They came and towed our van FOR FREE, and when it got to the shop they did there performance checks. Within 1 hour Angel was calling me back with the information on our van. She let us know exactly what they found and Wendy even came to pick us up and bring us back to the shop to show us. Long story short, they repaired our transmission at a very reasonable price, were very considerate when it came to explaining what was wrong and showing and telling us every step they took, and always kept in touch with us on the process and repairs, AND IT ONLY TOOK 2 DAYS TO COMPLETE EVERYTHING. I was driving down Clinton Hwy. and I noticed the sign at Transmission Corporation of America that said FREE COMPUTER SCANS. Well, my car had been acting up lately but when i took it to get it looked at, the place wanted to charge me just to look at it. So I was very glad to see this sign. I pulled in and asked if they could look at my car and tell me what was wrong with it. The manager, Angel, was very nice and said that wouldn't be a problem at all. She got to me right then, got my information, and went to go check my car. It took about 25 min and then she's coming to talk to me about what they found with my car. It was a very fast process. Needless to say, I needed an oxygen sensor put in and that was it. I could of sworn my transmission was going out. The whole visit cost me less than I would have ever imagined. I really appreciate Angel and Transmission Corporation of America for fixing my car and being one of the few honest shops left in this town. I had my car at another transmission shop for 3 weeks. They were not able to fix it correctly. I do give them credit for trying though. I took it to Transmission Corporation of America in Knoxville and they had it fixed the same day. I have put 47,000 miles on it sense and not a problem at all. If you need your transmission fixed, you need to go see the folks down at Transmission Corporation of America on Clinton Highway and Merchants Road!!! Pros: Great customer service, Best price! I knew I had a transmission problem and paid 3300 dollars to have it fixed right. It worked till the warranty almost ran out and I took it back in. I was told nothing was wrong with it, but I made them do something. Got in back in a week or so, and it worked ok untill froze up all together and got stuck in first gear while I was moving. Took it to another transmission place and I was told that it had never even been opened up and still has the factory seal. I paid for a total rebuild and got nothing, absolutely nothing. If I have my way this place will be on the news soon and be closed down. They are the epitomy of the sleezy mechanics. they do just enough to last the warranty and what they do fix, they use the cheapest parts they can buy and charge you as much as possible. If you ever need anything repaired on a vehicle, or even just looked at, Transmission Corporation of America is the place to go. We had problems with our car shifting gears so we took the car to their shop. They did all of their checks on the vehicle for free and then let us know what was wrong with the vehicle and what they recommend to be fixed on it. There was no pressure on us. They let us know what the price would be to have them fix it.They even helped us get financed so we could afford the repairs. It seemed like they did everything in their power to help us through this repair so we could have a car for work, AND the whole process only took a day and a half. We went in that morning and had our car back the next evening good as new. They even delivered the car to me at work personally. They gave us a great warranty and said if we ever had any problems to call them and they would take care of it immediately. Although we have not had a problem yet. These are the friendliest people. I've never been anywhere that tried to help people as much as they did. The manager, Angel, is great!!! When i went to Transmission Corporation of America i did not know what was wrong with my car. When i called them, instead of giving me a price to fix something when they did not know what was wrong with my car (like other places did), they asked me a few questions about my car and asked me to bring it in for them to check. I asked them how much that would cost and they said ABSOLUTELYFREE. They said that way they could properly diagnose what was wrong with the car and then give me a price to fix it. I was expecting something major to be wrong with the car (my luck), but to my surprise they said it was something very simple and quick and the whole process only cost me about $80.00. I admit, I dont know alot about cars, but I do know about business; and this place is a great business! When I went to Transmission Corporation of America, they did a bunch of checks for free before trying to price me all these things I didnt need without even seeing my car. Angel even took me into the shop so I could see for myself what she was talking about as she explained what was wrong with my transmission and what parts out of the transmission needed to be replaced and how they got bad in the first place. I was very impressed with how accurate she was when it came to the price and when my car would be ready. They even had Wendy take me home since I had to leave my car overnight and didnt have a ride home. I will definetely refer this place to anyone I know that has an engine or transmission problem! I brought my car into their shop to have it looked at when I was having problems with my transmission. They checked my car out completely free before any repairs were made and told me what they would need to do to fix my car and how much it would cost to the penny to fix. I told them to fix it. It only took 2 days before I had my car back,AND THE PRICE WAS EXACTLY WHAT THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE. They did not add on any money to the total at all.I got a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. This was the first automobile that i have ever needed any kind of transmission work and to date i am very pleased with the shifting action and the confidence my rebuilt transmission is providing me. i really love this old 92 Dodge spirit a Flordia car and i was utterly terrified at what i felt would cost me more than i could afford. However i feel confident and secure with the honesty i received and feel that i now have a touble-free transmission in a car i wanted to keep in the first place. The work done on my car was like " Right Now" !!! and very perfessional as was the customer servicei received. that was a good experience for me and feel comfortable with teh cost. i would recommend this company to anyone i know that has any Car problems be it Minor or Major repairs. I was greeted with a smile the moment I walked into their store. The manager was very nice and they did a free check on my transmission and a free computer scan. They were very fast and very honest. I only needed a little sensor on my transmission wich was much better than I expected. It was only a minor repair and I was prepared for a major overhaul on my transmission. I am really glad I chose this company. It's nice to know their are still honest people in the automotive repair industry and it's nice to know their are still people around that won't take advantage of women who don't know anything about car repairs. I am suprised Transmission Corporation of America's picture is not beside the word excellence in the dictionary! From the moment I walked in their door, excellence is what I recieved! EXCELLENT Southern Hospitality! The work they did was EXCELLENT! The price was EXCELLENT! The service after the sell was EXCELLENT also! Very professional! Extremely courteous. They say what they do and they do what they say! They gave me a price to fix my transmission, gave me a great warranty and they gave me excellence across the board, in every sense of the word! This is a great place for an honest deal! I am happy with the overhaul they did to the transmission in my truck. They got "ole blue" working good as new in no time! This is probably the best auto repair shop in town, but from experience I know it is the best transmission shop in town! Talk about excellence! They've got it! Best customer service I have ever recieved! Cleanest lobby! Great workmanship! Reasonably priced! The only time I have gotten a thank you card from a place that worked on my car! I was given detailed reports every step of the way through the repair of my car and was educated about the repair of a transmission. I would like to compliment everyone at Transmission Corp of America for all they did to help me. I broke down on I75 in my Durango with my 2 small children in the truck. I was terrified because my truck stopped moving on the interstate with traffic whizzing by. I called my husband , who was out of town in Florida to let him know what was happening and he got in the phone book and called Transmission Corp of America for me and they had a tow truck pick up my truck within 20 minutes! Not only that, Transmission Corp sent one of their employees to pick up me and my children so we wouldn't be stranded on the side of the road. They towed my truck FREE, and checked it FREE! I was expecting the worse possible results, but they told me it was only the altenator that went bad and it would only cost 150 dollars to replace it. What a relief! They replaced my altenator while we waited and I was back on the road later that morning. Everyone there was understanding and very hospitable. I am happy to know I have found reputable mechanics and fast, friendly service at Transmission Corp of America. I will never go anywhere else for service on my vehicle!
