Great Salon! 6/4/2010

I first learned of this salon when my friend and I went there for her wedding makeup and hair consultation. I scheduled an appointment a few months later for highlights and cut with Christina Ledford. I received so many compliments on my new color and cut! \r \r Christina was great at offering advice and gave me the most natural looking color. She is very knowledgeable and works with you to provide the best style. I am definitely coming back to Christina for my cut and color and highly recommend her and the salon for it's services. A Pumpkin Facial is the Way to Go!!!!! 5/31/2010

Yesterday I went to Tranquille Hair & Body and had the most AWESOME facial - a Pumpkin Facial (on November 10, 2010) - done by Alison Krysiak...it was so relaxing...I left feeling as though I did not have a care in the world...Alison takes her time to make sure that you get the full experience of the facial and besides working on your face - she massages your arms, hands, head, shoulders and chest...THANK YOU, ALISON, for such a wonderful afternoon...it's the best hour I've had in a long time! Tranquille - A hidden gem 5/29/2010

Tranquille is a hidden gem, worth my trip from Bel Air.\r \r This is a lovely salon, the atmosphere is plesant and comfortable, a really cute shop.\r \r The staff are all friendly and professional. You can tell they enjoy their work and working together.\r \r I've been a customer of MIchelle's for years . . . \r MIchelle does the best Manicure and Pedicure I've ever had. She is so professional, shows attention to detail, and follows all cleanliness and sterilization standards.\r \r I've enjoyed the move to the new Salon, what a relaxing enjoyable experience! Great Spa Services 5/24/2010

Michele is makes waxing an art form. Her attention to detail and perfectionism is impeccable and really makes her stand out from other aestheticians I have frequented in the past. She's personable, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around. I recommend her and Tranquille highly. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their clean, pretty space is well worth my trip to Towson. I really love this place, Im so happy to have found Susan who has given me the best haircolor. She really takes her time to talk to me before we get started to make sure we're both on the same page with what i want. My hair is very long, and she takes special care to make sure it stays healthy and shiny. I also recently had a mani/pedi with Michelle and I will definitely keep coming back to her as well. Fantastic customer service 3/29/2010

Tranquille has received fantastic reviews online, so when I was looking for a stylist in Baltimore, this was the salon I turned to. The salon was welcoming and the staff cheerful, but the entire styling/cutting process was rushed (no consultation before my hair was washed and cut) and I left the salon with a lousy haircut. However, after voicing my dissatisfaction, the owner called me personally to apologize for my bad experience and offered to cut my hair herself, free of charge, next time I need a cut. I am incredibly impressed by Tranquille's dedication to customer satisfaction. I have heard of salons offering to fix the cut a few days later, and even charging an additional fee to fix a bad haircut; but I have never heard of the owner offering to amend the problem herself. When you go to Tranquille, be clear about what you want and expect from your stylist, and you are sure to be treated with attention and care. PERFECT COLOR EVERYTIME 3/2/2010

I recently moved back to the Baltimore area and found my original sylist Susan Downs. I never have to worry how my hair will ""turn out"" this time because she takes every effort to make sure its exactly how i like it. Fabulous! 1/9/2010

Excellent salon! Maria colored and cut my hair. This was my first time coloring my hair and she walked me right through the process. The salon had a nice homey feel, not like one of those salons you get lost in. Everyone in the salon was very nice and interactive. The decor is very relaxing. Will def come back! Great Customer Service 12/18/2009

I can only review the customer service aspect of Tranquille, as I bought a gift certificate from there from my sister. I saw the great reviews here and emailed Tranquille to see if they could set me up with a gift card. Since I live in Boston and the recipient lives in Baltimore, it could have been potentially tricky coordinating a gift card purchase long-distance. I was pleasantly surprised by Tranquille's quick response to my email. They told me we could do the entire transaction via email, and they could mail out the gift card that day. They were very friendly, the transaction was super easy, and the gift card arrived to its destination just a few days later. Furthermore, they sent out an email to all of their clients this morning (including me since I'd made a purchase with them), informing us that they would be closed today due to a snow storm but that they would be expanding their hours on Monday for anyone who had to miss an appointment due to the closing. Fantastic! Pros: Friendly, efficient staff! Cons: None that I know of more

Hidden Gem 12/7/2009

Jenna is a GEM! I cant say enough about how much I love my hair. The color & cut are perfect. She gave me a great consultation so I knew exactly what to exspect the finished look to be. I now have a beautiful auburn color and she knew just what my fine thin hair needed to look full and fab :) The salon is very nice and Jenna is the best hairdresser I have ever found. I would highly recommend this salon. Pros: Relaxing place with a great Stylist Cons: A little hard to find more

Don't hesitate, make an appointment NOW! All the services here are great. Gia is the best :) both with cuts and with color! I get comments constantly on how wonderful my hair color is. Alison gives the best facials, her knowledge and expertise will have your skin looking radiant. Go to Michelle for the best manicure and pedicure-you'll not be disappointed! All the staff here are friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Tranquille!! Pros: Caring, personal service more

I Love the Keratin Treatment! 11/14/2009

I got a Keratin Treatment done last week with Christina and I am absolutely thrilled with my hair! My hair is naturally frizzy and curly and I was looking for something to smooth it out and make it easier to maintain. The receptionist reccommended the Keratin Treatment which gets rid of almost all of the frizz and makes me hair extremely shiny and smooth. Christina did my treatment and she was fabulous! I'm going to come back in a month or so for some color with her. Definitely check out Tranquille for your next hair appointment! Pros: professional, friendly more

Great Salon 10/29/2009

A friend told me about this new salon so I looked them up on facebook. They had some really great promotions so I decided to check it out. I got highlights and a cut from Jenna (which I LOVE),a pedicure with Michele(very relaxing) and even got squeezed in for a bikini wax with Alison(not so relaxing but a must). I would highly reccommend this place to all my friends. Everyone was super friendly and I am looking forward to my next appointment! more

This salon is a must for everyone! If you are looking for someone to do your waxing, Allison is the best! She has been doing my waxing (brazilian and eyebrows) for 2 years and I have never been disappointed. She's always friendly and quick so it's over before you know it. I have been a client of Jenna's for several years and I cant imagine ever trusting someoone else with my fine thin hair. Jenna is talented, sweet, and professional. She has recommends various styles but will ultimately do what I want and do it very well. In my opinion she is the best in Baltimore. more
