Toy Doctor Inc- Toyota, Lexus and Scion Service 7 Repair- Littleton Location

I went in last week for a routine oil change and inspection (my car had 81K and it'd been a while since I had someone look at belts, fluids, etc). After 4.5 hours I was given a list of things that "needed" to be addressed that day totaling $3000--including all new brakes, rotors, several fluid flushes and line repairs, new belts, and a new battery. That's not counting the cost of the oil change and "inspection." Wanting a second opinion (who wouldn't?), I took my car to a place near my house. The mechanic there showed me how everything except the brakes were fine and did not need to be addressed. Total cost at the end of the day was less than $400. I'm very disappointed in the integrity of the mechanics at Toy Doctors and will not bring my car to them again. Pros: null Cons: null more

After moving to Denver i shopped around for a place to take my Prius and my husband's Tacoma. After several bad experiences, we heard about Toy Doctor Inc. At another place my husband had been told he needed $1800 worth of work ... that was 2 years ago. It wasn't true and Toy Doc confirmed it for us. We are both really pleased. We feel we've found a place that we can trust with good service and a good attitudes! We are very happy and we have 2 happy toys too! more

First time customer, newbie to the Littleton area. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and explained everything in an easy-to-understand way. Got my 40k maintenance done without any surprises, convienent courtesy shuttle to and from work, and took care of my questions without a fuss. Two big thumbs up! more

I live 2.5 hours from the nearest Toyota Dealer. I decided to check Google to see some different options. Toy Doctor had good ratings so I gave them a try. Glad I did. They were less expensive than the Toyota dealer I had been going to. The experience was completely personal. Oscar was helpful getting me there and set up. Brian explained everyservice detail he did to my vehicle and why it needed the work he performed. They suggested other service, but were not pushy that I had to get it done, or get it done by them. I forget the name of the employee who gave us a ride in the courtesy car, but he was fantastic. Gave us tips for the surrounding area. I'm going to the Toy Doctor from here on out. It is well worth my 2.5 hour drive. more

I've been taking my 2007 Corolla to Toy Doctor for over a year. They're Toyota specialists and boy, are they good. Perhaps a little more expensive than some other mechanics but then again, you get what you pay for. I took my car in today for what I thought was just an oil change but it turns out I needed a major part replaced. So, you know what they did? They put TWO guys on the job and got my car fixed in half the time they first quoted me. Saved me the cost of having to leave it the rest of the day and get a rental car. I like having a mechanic with 17 years of Toyota experience working on my car (thank you, Brian!). They have never misled me about any repair or service, and won't recommend replacing any parts or fluids unless it truly is needed. They have always thoroughly explained every problem to me, and will take you back into the shop and show you exactly what the problem is on your car BEFORE starting the work. You guys are AWESOME!! more

Toy Doctor has served me well on all 5 Toyotas that I have owned over the past 12 years. I am a particularly careful car owner, and have observed that the entire Toy Doctor staff has always provided honest diagnoses, high quality repair work, and professional courtesy. For experience/expertise, their shop foreman, Brian, is the best mechanic I have come across in a long time. These guys really care and deserve my recommendation! more

I will never take my Toyota there again (I have 2). I had it serviced before a long trip -MISTAKE! By the time I got back and tried to get some problems fixed, they tried to convince me it was someone else's fault. I would even had paid to have it fixed (AGAIN)....but it was not worh the hassle of determining what was wrong and how it was caused. That, and having to leave it iat their shop to be fixed for a 15-minute procedure...not worth the hassle. I'll take it back to my dealer before I ever return or recommend Toy Doc again. . I've started taking my 2003 4Runner to ToyDoctor in Littleton about a year ago. They did my 120,000 mile service and my 4Runner is running better than after after any service at the dealer. I highly recommend using Toy Doctor instead of the Dealer. Way better prices and better service. BTW, they only do what you need. Pros: Price, Service Cons: none so far more

I have been bringing my car here for years ... I know that I will have my car for a long time and entrust its care to these good folks. Great service and prices competitive (or better) than "big dealerships." Pros: Knowledgable and courteous staff Cons: none more

The Toy Doctor has had a couple of my Toyotas in the past and has worked wonders (one was a pickup with a lot of miles). I will continue to go to them with all of my Toyotas as I think they do a great job. more

I have been to both their locations many times. They have done a lots work on my car, timing belt, alignment, starter, brake job. I had better experience with their Parker location. They actually did a brake job cheaper then brake plus would have charged me. Because they didn't replace the whole parts, just fixed small parts. I am a little bit disappointed with their Broadway location the other day. I had something wrong with my Toyota. The guy told me it will cost well over $100 to fix it. I asked him what he has to do. He didn't give me straight answer. Then I asked him is this most labor? He said yes. I went home, took me 5 minutes to figure out all I need to do is screw it back on. and 2 minutes later I fixed it myself. The truth is if they said $30 I would have just let them do it on the spot. They didn't just do the "basic" oil change, they checked other areas on the car and found some things that could cause issues in the future. They called before they did any additional work, and didn't make me feel pressured to get it done. Pros: They do a thorough job-check things over well. more
