I went in last week for a routine oil change and inspection (my car had 81K and it'd been a while since I had someone look at belts, fluids, etc). After 4.5 hours I was given a list of things that "needed" to be addressed that day totaling $3000--including all new brakes, rotors, several fluid flushes and line repairs, new belts, and a new battery. That's not counting the cost of the oil change and "inspection." Wanting a second opinion (who wouldn't?), I took my car to a place near my house. The mechanic there showed me how everything except the brakes were fine and did not need to be addressed. Total cost at the end of the day was less than $400. I'm very disappointed in the integrity of the mechanics at Toy Doctors and will not bring my car to them again.
