Overall, I had a very pleasant experience, however, I think I must be going deaf at the ripe old age of 36, because I never seemed to be able to hear what they were whispering that they wanted me to do next."Put on this robe.","Leave your clothes in this room."and as a result I felt like a bull in a china cabinet doing it all wrong. The massage was top notch and my pedicure was divine. The facialist was a bit condescending, but I think that was her personal way personal to try to upsell me on future facials, because I apparently need them to correct and improve my heinous skin. Overall, lovely afternoon, but I would recommend that everyone speak up a bit, especially to first time clients. more

I love this spa 6/24/2011

This has become my spa of choice. Jessica does the shellac manicures on my nails. She does a terrific job! Both Jessica and Susan are great for pedicures. Sureka has actually given me eyebrows for the first time in my life with the threading and tinting. Finally, I love Jennifer for facials. I try to purchase my services in a series so that I can come on a regular basis. Oh and how can I forget to mention the amazing food by Wendy at the Cafe. more

Jonathan Fowler has been doing my hair for a while now. He is very savy with color. He gives a great cut. He is very creative and has a positive energy. he is a fantastic stylist. He is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

This salon is like no other. They offer complimentary services like a hand and foot massage with every service. The staff is very friendly and current on all the new trends in hair. The shampoo is simply the best one you will ever have in your life. Plus they the best products...AVEDA!!!! I just love this place. more

Limited polish colors 6/21/2011

My pedicure was wonderful but there was a very limited color selection and I could not even buy the color that was put on my toes for touch up. more

Best Facial in Alabama 11/20/2008

I recently visited Richard Joseph SalonSpa and received a Vitamin C Facial. My esthetician was very informative and encouraging. She customized the facial to meet my skin?s needs and recommended a new skin care regimen that I have found very beneficial. After my facial my skin had a shine like never before. My skin still feels and looks amazing two weeks later. I thoroughly enjoyed my Vitamin C Facial and the wonderful pampering treatment at Richard Joseph SalonSpa. I also received complimentary lunch, a glass of wine and complimentary foot soak. I have already booked my next appointment and can?t wait to go back! Pros: Complimentary Serivces Cons: I can't go everyday more

Best shampoo on the Planet. Great experience overall. Great cut. Great food. Recommended by a friend whom I thanked with a gift card from Richard Joseph SalonSpa. Spa services are offer for guys also. Pros: Great space. Plenty of parking. Open early morning and late afternoon. Men feel comfortable in what is traditionally a female enviroment. more
