I absolutely love Tonya Jones. Damon Moore is an incredible stylist who listens to you what you want. It's great to have a stylish who actually listens! He truly cares about each of his clients and is always glad to see you! I always look forward to my hair appts!! Tonya Jones is one of the most professional hair salons I have EVER been to. more

Ashley did a great job not only coloring and cutting my hair, but blow drying it as well. I have really curly hair and usually have to go home and re-dry it after a trip to the salon, but not this time. The salon itself is reallly nice and new too. Great location and easy to find. more

Coming from having a disturbing salon experience w/another local venue I was excited that I may have finally found a place I could call home However, my 1st appt wasn't so great yet bittersweet. I was scheduled for 5:30pm However, I wasn't seen until roughly 6:30pm. I watched 4 people walk in after me & all were called to the back as I sat & waited The staff ignored me as they talked & laughed amongst themselves. I was so heartbroken & reason is I'd been anticipating my appt I scheduled 3wks in adv. I was stoked from all of the great things that I heard about the salon. However, I wasn't pleased. My stylist did a great job with my color She worked diligently. My bill was absurd, I was stunned! Nonetheless, I didn't leave the salon until after 10pm I would've appreciated it if my bill had been itemized at least so that I could account for the price & services rendered. I would've appreciated it if my stylist hadn't taken it upon herself to add additional services w/o first explaining to me & going over the prices. Most importantly, I would've greatly appreciated if I'd been given a genuine apology for my experience, a discount or a complimentary service. Instead I got, in opinion an over-priced bill. Nothing against anyone, but please know that principle does speak measures. more

I could not be more happy to have found Tonya at Tonya Jones Salon. I love Tonya's style and grace and my hair has never looked better. She does an awesome job with color! All of the staff members are also fantastic to work with, they make me feel like I'm on a mini vacation while getting my hair done. I highly recommend to everyone. more

My experience was very pleasant. Angela is very professional, knows what she is doing and is a very attractive young woman, which helps with the overall impression of the Salon. She is also friendly and makes the client feel comfortable. I am considering trying some other options that you offer. more

When people ask who cuts your hair, you know it's working. Theo Pettway can do anything with hair and make it look good. When I leave the salon I feel good about my hair and I've enjoyed my appointment. He's the best! more

I'm the kind of person who has a very difficult time making decisions of any way shape or form...as you can imagine this makes many salon visits quite difficult for me. Tonya Jones SalonSpa is a different story, however. Erin is excellent at helping me choose cuts and color that work for both my personality and my face shape. The atmosphere at Tonya Jones is relaxing and all the staff members are helpful and professional. more

The atmosphere of Tonya Jones is wonderful. They are extremely friendly, will serve you something to drink, play great music, etc. For the first 20 minutes, I was in heaven. However, I ended up being there for four hours, for a cut and a partial foil. Granted, it was a dramatic restyling--2.5 would have been fine. But four? My hairdresser took a long time on my cut, and did a poor job. Thank goodness, Tonya was watching and saved my hair. However, the intervention made my hair cut take much longer than it should have. Then the foiling was slow, and she had me sit with it longer than was necessary, and then she took FOREVER styling. I wanted to tell her to towel dry it and let me leave, but by this point I didn't have time to go home and do it myself. She was very inefficient. It started out a morning of luxury, but 3.5 hours later, I was biting my tongue and gripping the styling chair in frustration and impatience. I would go again, but I would ask around request someone with experience and talent. more

I'd asked for a layered cut to my long hair, and instead i got just barely a trim. My stylist did not seem confident with hair at all. Her movements were hesitant from the cut to the blowout. Perhaps more training is required. I've had extremely positive experiences at TJ before, this just wasn't one of them. Choice of stylist does matter. more

I am a regular custome of Tonya's but had to cancel my last appointment. When the Hair a Thon came up it was a great chance to get my hair cut and do some good as well. Tonya usually cuts my hair but I was assigned Haley. She was very nice and courteous and went to great lengths to give me the cut I wanted. I was very pleased with her and as always the salon itself.
