Good Sports Bar 3/7/2005

This review is for the sports bar. I have yet to eat in the restaurant. If you're looking to catch a game, Tony P's is a great place to watch it. They have a LOT of TV's, showing everything from NASCAR to boxing to baseball. Saturdays and Sundays are dedicated to football. Good menu, good drinks. Pros: Great TVs more

Heard about this place from a friend- it's fantastic! Right on the marina, good food, excellent service, and a great sports bar area! They open early on the weekends, so it's a perfect place to watch football- the manager says Florida Gator fans make this place home on Saturdays, but there are plenty of TVs to accomodate everyone. The menu is pretty broad and reasonably priced (seafood and steaks in the $15-25 range), domestic pints are $3.75, most imports are $4.75, and a good selection of martinis and specialty ""foo foo"" drinks. Nice MDR Bar 6/5/2002

Tony P's is a great place to watch sports games. With a number of big screen TVs by the bar, it's cozy, clean and provides good sightlines. Even if you're not a sports fan, Tony's is a nice place to have a cocktail. The bartenders are a lot of fun, and if you go on the right night you might get the one who plays the guessing games with the satellite music. He claims to be able to outsmart any one. Guess the song and artist before he does (and before it appears on screen!) and he might just buy you a drink. Another option is to sit outside on the patio. During peak hours, you have to eat in order to populate one of the coveted outdoor tables. The food is middle of the road -- not outstanding, but not bad either.
