I recently treated my sister to an afternoon at the Fusion Lifespa. She has had many life challenges lately and I am a busy working mother so it seemed a perfect get away for us both. I traveled 4 hours from Iowa to take her to the spa. We were greated at the front desk like we had been there many times and were escorted through the beautifully decorated salon. The soothing smells, lighting, color tones of the walls and flare of Japan decor were exactly what I wanted. I am from another large city and nothing compares. I have never been treated like a queen lwith sincere concern for your health and your individual needs. We completed the Japan Ritual bath before our other treatments which I highly recommend. I could feel the stress roll out the end of my fingers as we walked to the fire place waiting area in our thick terri robes and slippers. I almost fell asleep on the leather chase lounge by the fire.
I treated my sis to a facial and I had an hour massage. Both our staff members were incrediable and 1 of the best massages I have every had! I must have been very blessed to call late in the week for a Sat. appointment and they accomodated my special wishes for my sisters day of bliss. I would travel 4 hours anyday to spend a day with Fusion. I will be making this an annual event for us. I walked away feeling so happy I had planned this sister day and amazed the prices were right in line with other salons offering so much less for overall experience. The scrubs, washes and lotions for the Japan theme bath ritual were incredible and I wish I could have bought all of them to take home. I can see why this spa won the 2006 Best Spa in Minneapolis award. It has me vote for 2007 also!
