Tom's Floor Store

We recently used Tom's Floor Store to install some new flooring in a rental home. We were really pleased with the installation and the renters of our home were so happy with the new flooring! Their customer service was great. Overall, it was a five star experience. more

I replaced the floors in my entire house. Tom & LIsa were helpful in picking out the best products for me. After the floors were installed, there's been a lack of support & follow-up to get some minor issues resolved/fixed. The communication between Tom and the installers was a little lax, which made some days stressful. The flooring has a warranty, which I never got information on even after asking. There was a price discrepancy between the original bid and the final invoice. Over all I love my floors even with the hiccups! more

Tom's Floor Store does a great job. Recently, they did three different buildings and a medical facility for the company I work for. They do clean room flooring, and they are good at working with us. If repairs are needed, they come in right away. It's a good company and I like working with them. more

We had Tom's Floor Store come and redo the carpet in one of the bedrooms in our home and they also re-stretched a carpet in another room. They showed up when they said they would and did a good job. I definately recommend Tom's Floor Store! This was my first experience with them and I thought they were quite helpful and knowledgeable too. They listened so they could understand what I wanted, then they helped me pick out a product based on my needs and design. I purchased laminate flooring instead and it was still within my budget! They all are great and have excellent customers service skills storewide. However, I worked the most with Julie King, who is just awesome and made the experience a great one. This was our first time ordering from Tom's Floor Store. We were looking for tile flooring for the bathroom, so we went into the store to check out what they had, and a salesperson came by and offered to help. They made some good suggestions and we picked something we liked and ordered it. It took about 2-3 weeks to arrive, and we did the installation ourselves so we just went and picked it up. We're happy with the tile and the experience, the price was reasonable. Would recommend checking them out. more

Tom's Floor Store has removed and installed carpet for my home. They provided excellent service, good product, and just overall reasonable. The installer was also excellent. Prices were fine. I would certainly used them again if need to in the future. more

We worked with Tom's Floor Store on a bunch of flooring recently. I really enjoyed working with the people there. Lisa, who did the original estimate, was great and so was Julie. The only problem was that the original estimate was not totally accurate. Lisa's father, the owner, came out for a second look and realized it would be more expensive than we expected, but it wasn't until the technician came out and started working that we realized how long it would take and how much more it would cost. The problem was the vinyl was installed on top of an uneven surface of rock, so he had to sand it down to make it smooth in order to install the vinyl. Maybe there was a breakdown in communication, but I don't think it was anyone's fault. It was about $600 extra in the end, even though they said it might cost an extra thousand dollars, so they did a good job working efficiently, but it was still $600 we hadn't figured in when we compared estimates with other flooring stores so I wish we had known that before the technician was there and we had no choice in the matter. Putting aside the pricing mix-up, we are really happy with the finished product. The look is very good. They had to join together two different products and the did a good job with that. The vinyl butted against a rug on one side and laminate flooring on another and they pulled it off well. The carpeting in bedroom is great. We are happy with the results. more

It seemed like there were a couple of extra steps in getting the quotes and information from Tom's Floor Store. The process of trying to get special padding for the carpet was a little involved and the lady working with me didn't seem too informed. However, once that was fixed, things went smoothly and they did the installation perfectly. I liked that it was a small, local company. I would use them again. more

The installer that Tom's Floor hooked us up with had to be less than a five, she took forever with the little space we had, it took like a month, it was just unbelievable. But, Tom's Floors--the experience was absolutely a five. They're wonderful people, this isn't the first time we've used them for a project. I would recommend them again. more

I used Tom's Floor Store and, as a retired architect, I've seen a lot in this industry. They did what they said they would and completed the job in good time. Everything was ok... but when I went in for the paperwork, things were a bit hectic. After some bumbling and fumbling around they found my file and everything was finished up. I have used them a couple times a year since about 2006 or so - twice we had the carpeting totally replaced in 2 different rooms and everything was fantastic! Before starting the project we shopped around and came across Tom's Floor Store. This company puts together a really great team including Kent. I got new hardwood floors and tile installation for 3 of my bathrooms. My floors looks great! Their prices are comparable to the other companies in the area, but the deciding factor for me was their demonstration of being competent to do the work. After interacting with the salesman who was very knowledgeable about the product I felt very confident that they would be able to do what I was looking for. They weren't trying to make any crazy promises to me. They are a very trustworthy company, and I would recommend them. more

Tom's Floor Store did a great job putting in ceramic tile in our bathroom and in our shower. I like that it was done right and very professionally--and it looked really nice afterwards. more
