Professional and affordable-- I called Tommy for an estimate to remove a tree that was threating to fall on my house. He arrived within a couple of hours. He and his employees began to carefully remove the tree immediately. They were very efficient and professional, I will recommend him to my neighbors and use him again. more

Very Promt and Reasonably Price - GREAT SERVICE 4/24/2012

Professional, Affordable, and Trustworthy 3/16/2012

I have used Tommy's Tree Service now three times, ranging from small brush to removing a huge dead tree next to my house. In my experience Tommy answers the phone himself, comes out the same day to provide an estimate, and gets the job done either the same day or the next day. His crew is also fantastic, hauling away the limbs and making sure you are pleased with the job. Extremely affordable, I wouldn't call anyone else in Austin. more

Tommy of Tommy's TREE SERVICE is my hero! 8/4/2011

A HUGE Tree limb fell on our house on Sunday night. I called Tommy's Tree service on Monday morning and Tommy came within the hour. He was able to bring a bucket truck that afternoon and remove the tree limb. He also suggested that I call my insurance company. When I talked to the adjustor, she could not believe what a great deal I got. Tommy also hauled away all the debris without charging an additional fee! more

FAST and EFFICIENT 7/28/2011

I am extremely happy with their service on a tree removal. They came over and gave me a quote which was signifcantly lower than all the other tree services and quickly removed the tree. They even cleaned up all the little branches off the ground which made the whole area look so much better. They hauled everything away. They were extremely polite and friendly. The price was great. Will use them again if another tree falls down. more

Friendly and Great Service 7/6/2011

I am very happy with Tommy's work on my small job. I called Tommy because of good reviews online. I had called other tree services, one never returned my call and the other was double the price of what Tommy had quoted me. Tommy and his crew came over the next day, trimmed my trees, cut the large pieces of the tree that was hanging over my house (making no damage to my house) and trimmed my neighbor more

TOMMY'S TREE SERVICE DID WORK FOR ME ON JUNE 13,2011. THEY DID A GRET JOB AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. WHEN THEY LEFT THE PREMISES, EVERYTHING WAS CLANED UP TO THE MAX. I WAS SO IMPRESED WITH THEIR WORK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS TREE WORK. THEY WERE ALSO VERY REASONABLE. IF YOU NEED WORK DONE, CALL THE GUYS AT TOMMY'S TREE SERVICE. Great Service 6/10/2011

We became concerned about cedar trees that were too close to the house and in this dry hot weather they presented a danger that could not be ignored. Tommy responded the same day we called. He quoted a fair price and within a few days he and his crew did a great job of clearing them and of cleaning up. They also cut a few stumps down to ground level that were in a difficult location. more

Great service at a nice price! 4/24/2011

We had a large dead tree in the back yard and Tommy came to look at it the same day I called. He assessed the tree and gave me a very good quote considering the size of the tree. He also trimmed the trees in front and removed ball moss from the oak trees. All for a very good price and done quickly. Would recommend Tommy. more

Wonderful Service 11/4/2010

Tommy took very good care of us today - he and his team took down a dying 20' silver maple that stretched over two adjacent property lines. They were prompt and fast and cleaned up the area as if they were never there. After I wrote my check for the amount quoted (which was reasonable to begin with), Tommy gave me cash back because he thought ultimately we paid a little too much. Very pleased with the work - and I'm a picky shopper! more

A Good Guy 9/23/2010

This 'Good Ol' Boy' is a true gentleman. Tommy works a long day in the harsh Texas sun cutting down trees, yet the evening finds him diligently manning the phones, scheduling appointments for the next day. When he realized that he was going to be late for my appointment with him, he called to let me know what was going on and what time he expected to arrive. He is wonderfully polite and his crew couldn't be nicer. Mosquitoes were biting me while we were surveying my tree problem and he hiked back to his truck to get some insect repellent. Tommy and his guys removed our big tree from my neighbor's roof in less than one hour, and they completely cleaned up the debris and hauled everything away for a very competitive price. more

Unprofessional 9/22/2010

I didn't use his service, thank god but my neighbor started to. We have oak wilt in our neighborhood and the city arborist is here constantly giving guidelines on cutting. I noticed while he was cutting that he wasn't sealing the cuts nor was he cleaning the blades as the guidelines state. When I asked him about it he immediately became aggressive telling me that it wasn't necessary and to mind my own business. He has been doing this 40 years and there always has to be ""one"" giving problems. I said I have legitimate concerns. It went south from there. I stopped talking to him and went to the neighbor. I learn this guy is representing himself as an arborist. All he could do was tell my neighbor that ""your nosy neighbor is causing problems"" The neighbor told him to seal the cuts. The guy had to run to the store because he didnt intend to seal anything! The neighbor stopped the work. City of Austin wants his info for not following CoA guidelines for tree trimming. I provided the info. Beware if you decide to save some money with this guy. You get what you pay for. In this case even less. more

Tommy's Tree Service 9/14/2010

I read the reviews online and called them late friday. Tommy and Marc came out Saturday and took down a Bradford Pear split by the storm. They cut it up, filled a flatbead and were ready to go in about an hour. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up before they left, all for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again. more

Very professional, competent and reasonable 9/13/2010

We lost a tree in our front yard during a recent storm. I called Tommy because of the number of good reviews. He came to my house the same day, called me at work with very reasonable bid and cleared my driveway while he was there. He came back 2 days later, finished the job and cleanup beautifully. While he was there he trimmed my neighbors tree over her driveway. Wonderful man who treats people right. I am recommending him to all my friends. more

Excellent Service 6/23/2010

I called Tommy because of good reviews online. I had tried another tree service, but they never returned my call. Tommy came over on the day that I called (in the rain) He and 1 other man spent many hours trimming my trees. Both men were very hard-working, and diligent in their work. I would recommend them, again and again. Tommy asked my opinion on how I wanted the trees trimmed, and also gave his professional opinion. He does the job right! And left my yard cleaned up! Pros: Very reasonable price, professional job more

Glad I Called Tommy 6/14/2010

We had a tree emergency in our backyard (it broke during a storm). We called Tommy and he showed up that day (on a weekend) and was honest, fair, and a hard worker. His rate was very reasonable, he showed up when he said he would, and he did a great job cutting down our tree. I would highly recommend him. Pros: Honest, Diligent, Trustworthy more

Tommy is an Honest Guy 11/6/2009

Tommy removed some overgrown bushes for me and during the process one of his helpers accidentally damaged an underground sprinkler pipe. I didn't realize it was damaged until Tommy left so I called him to let him know. He came back within 30 minutes and then contracted a repair man to fix the broken pipe the same day at no cost to me. Tommy makes sure the job is done right, and if it's not he will come back and fix it. Give him a call, you won't be sorry. more
