My review of this apartment is very negative. If I can make one person change their mind in moving into this horrible apartment I believe I have made a positive impact in that persons life. This complex has a roach and bed bug infestation, don't believe me, go around and ask the residents. The walls behind the drywall are literally rotting from mildew and mold. The ac units are nearly all broken and they will insist on a broken unit to save money. After my walls started to disintegrate and fall over the apartment they finally honored my work order to have it fixed. their maintenance people came as often as they felt like it. they hired a private contractor to fix the drywall that fell apart. the private contractor has other jobs and decides to show up mid day without warning, and only come for an hour or two at most. I want who ever reads this too understand I am by no means exaggerating on the extent of damage the mildew and mold has caused. So I included pictures of my apartment in its current state. I call them every day to try to expedite the process and they don't care. Where to even start. I should have taken off running when they called me THE DAY BEFORE MOVE-IN to tell me that they made a mistake and had no apartment for me (after I'd waited a month, sleeping on friends couches). Then they offered me two other apartments, both of which were already rented. I was robbed while I was sleeping the first week I was there. My neighbors either sell or smoke crack cocaine (and paraphernalia is left all over the place). My lease is almost up (THANK GOD) and I'm still waiting for repairs that were supposed to done the first week. There have been 2 murders there. My last straw was being sexually assaulted in my apartment. They will not let me out of the lease, even when I went there and my whole face was swollen and bruised! I've been staying with friends because I can't even stand to be there, paying rent on a place that is too unsafe to use. And these are just the major things, countless smaller issues (unleashed dogs, terrible maintaince, filthy poole, the giant blue dumpster that has been my view for the past 10 months). And the management; lets just say that I believe in Karma. Don't do it! more

This place is a complete and utter s*** hole. Like all of the posts above! Nothing but uneducated mindless staff. Do not move to this un-luxurious apts. this place is a complete utter joke. they are conniving scammers and don't deserve a dime out of people. more

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I've been here for two years now and lived in two different apartments in Siesta Key. I am now about to FINALLY move out for good tomorrow and cannot wait. Since living here we've encountered black mold, constant leak from apartment upstairs even after being fixed multiple times, AC breaking multiple times, termite infestation, loud neighbors, cockroach infestations, and our bikes were stolen. This place is a magnet for crime and we even had to put up a security camera. These apartments are old and need serious renovations, not just cosmetic ones. Seriously, don t live here because you will encounter ongoing problems. more

This complex is GARBAGE!!! It looks fairly nice when you drive around & if you look at a unit, they've fixed it up really nice to reel you in. Its all BS. They dont keep the pools clean. They dont care that people let their dogs s*** on the tennis courts. It's not quiet or peaceful- theirs always some kind of music being blasted from somewhere & always people walking by right up next to your windows. People take their dogs (PITBULLS) out to s*** without leashes & dont pick up the s***. So don't expect fresh florida air to breath if youre outside. If you ARE outside, WATCH OUT! Those leashless dogs will come after you! Not only were my small dog & I charged at by a pitbull, but i saw a large breed run & attack a passerby on a bike at the gate. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I discovered termites in my 5th month renting, it is my 10th month & guess what! After NUMEROUS & SUPPOSED sprays & bombs & leaving work early & clearing out my ENTIRE closet & finding someone to watch my dog & cleaning up after theyve been in my home without me being there, I still have termites!! After the upstairs neighbor that liked to belt out spanish songs from his balcony at 1am moved out, my ceiling started to leak. Turns out that unit had a garbage disposal issue. They fixed that, now sometimes i'll come home from work & my apt will smell like garbage, not to mention the beautiful water marks on the ceiling, next to giant patches from prior leaks. During the rainy season, a giant water mark appeared in the very middle of the wall in my bedroom. They came to fix it while i was at work- uncomforting. It took two days to complete, they sanded the patched wall but didnt cover ANYTHING so I came home to a nice layer of drywall dust on my bed, pillows, comforter, night stand, etc. These people do not care about theyre renters, they are only trying to keep this pit up to the minimal standard so they can keep squeezing money out of those that are desperate enough to have to move here or just dont know better! more

I just want to let people know how bad this place is. If you happen to look for a rental apartment in the Deerfield area, stay away from this place. more

This place is a joke! Don't move here unless you want to be sick as long as you live here. I have called thousands of times for things to be fixed and they NEVER come! I have had pigeons living in my attic and after 3 months of fighting with these morons, they finally removed them but never cleaned up after the pigeons. Also, there is black mold growing everywhere in here! And do they move me or anything? NOPE!!!!!! There are bugs everywhere and I clean my house all the time. Such a nasty place. Very unsafe. If I would've read the reviews about this place, I would've NEVER moved in. The staff is very rude and all they want is their money. They do NOTHING for their tenants. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS you want to be constantly sick. I researched all of the symptoms for mold exposure and I have so many of them. I have been constantly sick since I moved in here. Constant headaches, rashes, difficulty breathing, open sores on my arms. This all started when I moved here. I have never had problems like this. They let anyone move into here, no credit checks, no background checks. I was approved on a Sunday and moved in the next day. Now I know it takes longer than that for a background check. There is black mold in these apartments, my roof has been leaking since Dec 18th and it is now Jan 7, 2011. Amazing that they haven't even been here to fix it or to set traps in the crawl space where the rats are. I am calling the news on these people. And I am getting a lawyer. Anyone have the same issues and want to join me by getting this place condemned or fixed, anything, just send me an email. m.dauer@yahoo.... I am very disturbed by this community. Oh and by the way, they are just now deciding to fix the wobbly railings leading up to the 2nd floor of my building. What a joke!!! more

The first time I went to their office, the lady who talked to me was very rude. The 2nd time was the same. I was expecting someone who would wanted to extend thier sympathy that you were looking for a place to live. Not someone who would just take your money. It was not really a good experience. Very impolite staff. It was the worst negotiation I've ever had. They put me in the situation where I could not look a place somewhere else. The apartment wise, I actually moved in 3 weeks ago I have had seen something crawling on the bathroom wall. Disgusting! My AC starts leaking, I had to put bucket underneath. Depressing! I hope I can take all this - I have a year to go. Pros: come with no good Cons: expect for worst more

if you think to rent at tivoly dont do it.Robbers broke into my home duringg the night in a ""fake gated community"". also the neighbors are terrible and low level people. Somebody who lives here broke into my car to take just coins from the inside console. The maintenance crew in the office is very rude and treat us like idiots all the time. Well I'm not the only one to complain about this community as you can see. Pros: Good Nature and views Cons: Rude Crew more

Between the old appliances, used never new carpeting and leaking rooves who wouldn't want to spend $1000 + a month. The insect infestation really makes you want to call this community home. I lived there for 1 year in which i had to either come out of pocket for damages on the apartment so it was suitable to live in or wait 3 months and 15 complaints later for the complex to fix it. Plus the community offered numerous activities like dirty swimming pools, cold hot tubs, broken tennis courts, security guards that do not secure the area, plus a gym where 1/2 the equipment never seems to work and definitly the most unproffesional managment staff you can ask for. So if you happen to rent here make sure when you first move in you mark off everything thats wrong with the place and check it well (you'll be surprised what you'll find behind ur washer and dryer). When you hand the check list into the office make sure to ask for copies because when you move out the tend to loose your info and charge you for damages caused by previous tenants(lucky for me I had a copy) After a month or 2 of disputes you might even get your deposit back. I have recently moved into this complex, thinking it would be great. Only being here two weeks I have had no electricity for the first week, following the sink disposal wasn""t working, then the dishwasher broke and needs a new ""transmission"" following both of my toilets stopped working with one of them overflowed and flooded half the apt with no one answering the so called ""emergency maitenance"" that they claim to provide over the weekend, i have had two broken toilets ALL WEEKEND. And with mentioning all these issues to their dept ""Resident Services"" all i get is an apology........ more
