Tires Plus

I have finally had enough of the bad reports out of here on Hopkins Tires Plus. I have been going here for over 10 years, as well as many others, and I have NEVER had a bad result out of here. I bring my companies vehicles here as well. That makes 5 vehicles I trust everytime coming here , and going away that HOPKINS Tires Plus has fixed right the first time. You as a customer have the right at any given time to ask the mechanic to see, and watch through a window how your repair is being done. Vehicles are money pits in the first place, so what you put into it up front you are going to get out of it on the back end. Nothing up front, BIG dollars on the back side. They know if neglect is the primary reason for your repairs. An oil change can lead to bigger things true, but have you done all you can do to prevent whatever the issue is at this time? No oil on the dip stick does not mean a new engine. It is called character, and honesty. There are options for you to walk out, or get it taken care of. it is called recomendations. That is all. They know this as well as you do. All businesses want your hard earned money. I have been comming here for over 10 years because they have earned my respect, as well as giving me the respect I deserve for comming there for this length of time knowing that my vehicle is safe to put on the roads. more

I knew that my brakes were getting old, and down to the bone to cause more issues than I wanted to deal with. I made an appointment, and they were prompt and curtious when I arrived. I told them they had all day to do this. This would not be all day here as usual. They got the vehicle in, and upon inspection, I had a call with good, and bad news. The good news was that I could keep driving a little longer if I chose to do so. The bad was that my rotors were bad also, and wore the brake pads down uneven with grooves. I asked what my options were. They said new pads on these rotors that could not be turned down to stay in specs was a waste of money. I could drive a few thousand miles, but I would need to take care of everything sometime anyway. If I could come down there , I would be shown what they meant. I went down , and they explained to me in terms that I could understand what I was up against. The knowledge they had, and the way it was presented, was not a pressure situation at all. Through all of the conversation, and options discussed, what I decided to do was what my decision was, not theirs. There were options after all. They would put it all back togehter, and I could have gone down the road for a few thousand miles more, and go elsewhere. NO hard feelings. I did though get the new rotors, and brake pads installed. I have the confidence, and peace of mind knowing that this Tires Plus stands behind all of their work, and safety was my first concern as I travel a lot. more

NEVER step foot into this Tires Plus. I took my vehicle there over the weekend for an oil change. An employee called me while I was waiting and said that I may need a new battery. I just replaced my battery last year, and had no issues. After picking my car up from Tires Plus, my radio started cutting in and out. The next day, my car wouldn't even start. I am positive that someone tampered with my battery. I ended up having to replace the battery (not through Tires Plus, of course). This location has hired a bunch of incompetent employees who are out to screw you over. DO NOT STEP FOOT in this establishment. more

TirePlus has a reputation of breaking things and not admitting. I took my toyotas carolla for an oil change. I took my cars back home (about 3 miles) and notice my car had a loud noise. Found out that there is not oil in the engine. more

Tire Plus, located in Hopkins Minnesota, informed me when They were installing my new tires that one of my tire pressure sensors was broken. The sensor was not flashing when I brought the vehicle in. \r \r When I talked to my Toyota dealer they said that the only way they break is if you drive with a flat. I have never driven with a flat. The price to fix one sensor is $500.00 and it is not covered under any warranty. \r \r I went back to Tires Plus and asked them to fix it. They refused. When I pressed for a scenario in which the sensor would break, they said driving on a flat. I have never driven on a flat and had never had the tires off the rims until Tires Plus took them off. \r \r I have been offered no other plausible explanation of how this sensor may have broken. I questioned the Toyota tech about every possibility. I can only conclude that the sensor was broken at Tires Plus during tire removal or install. more
