Review content:
I knew that my brakes were getting old, and down to the bone to cause more issues than I wanted to deal with. I made an appointment, and they were prompt and curtious when I arrived. I told them they had all day to do this. This would not be all day here as usual. They got the vehicle in, and upon inspection, I had a call with good, and bad news. The good news was that I could keep driving a little longer if I chose to do so. The bad was that my rotors were bad also, and wore the brake pads down uneven with grooves. I asked what my options were. They said new pads on these rotors that could not be turned down to stay in specs was a waste of money. I could drive a few thousand miles, but I would need to take care of everything sometime anyway. If I could come down there , I would be shown what they meant. I went down , and they explained to me in terms that I could understand what I was up against. The knowledge they had, and the way it was presented, was not a pressure situation at all. Through all of the conversation, and options discussed, what I decided to do was what my decision was, not theirs. There were options after all. They would put it all back togehter, and I could have gone down the road for a few thousand miles more, and go elsewhere. NO hard feelings. I did though get the new rotors, and brake pads installed. I have the confidence, and peace of mind knowing that this Tires Plus stands behind all of their work, and safety was my first concern as I travel a lot.
