Amazing food and top notch service. Scott and Eric are so professional with excellent taste and an eye for elegance. Our wedding was definitely a mix of people with friends from NY, and family from France, Portugal and the South. Everyone had a wonderful time. The service was impeccable and the place looked amazing. People are still raving about the food. Oh and the cake, holy cow, we loved it! If you are looking for one less thing to worry about hire these guys! more

It took me all of 2 minutes to fall into a deep state of non panic when I called these guys. I think what they understand is that you really need to feel secure when you hire a caterer and with them you really are. They are so professional. Down to every detail Scott and his wonderful crew delivered one an extremely successful, elegant and FUN menu and troubleshooted last minute details like you know....electricity not working!!!...yet they still delivered. They ROCK I tell you. Pros: Professional, delicious, fun and original Cons: Now I want that food all the time. more

I called Tip of the Tongue for my 40th birthday bash. I had a theme in mind and they were very accomodating with my requirements. The menu choices were terrific and they had wine recommendations at a good price (even though I decided to buy own wine in the end). Scott was very accomodating and understanding of my needs and very pleasurable to work with. Eric was just as lovely and is a fantastic pastry chef. He made a chocolate hazelnut birthday cake which was divine. I recommend them highly for any event. more

Hello, I used Tip of the Tongue for an event I had some time ago and I have to say they were great! The food was so great and they even gave a wonderful presentation. Very helpful and friendly staff. Basically all in all this caterer was a JOY to work with! And I will deff use them again down the road. Did I mention, the menu ideas thet give you are incredible!! Tip of the Tongue catered our wedding in September, and everything was absolute perfection. The food was incredible ? three amazing entrees, composed by a creative chef and comprised of unique fusion flavors, followed by a brilliantly plated and delectable dessert. All of our guests RAVED about how good the food was. Scott (head chef) and Eric (genius pastry chef) completely executed on our idea of combining foods and flavors from different cultures, and providing our guests with a truly gourmet culinary experience and not the typical wedding food. Most importantly, they were incredibly fun to work with. Scott, our day-to-day contact, has tons of personality and you can tell that he really cares about executing on his clients? ideas and wishes. Like any couple in New York planning a wedding, we were working on a tight budget, but he always took the time to patiently explain the areas where we could cut corners and where we should splurge and spend a little more. The whole wedding planning process could have been stressful, but ended up being a rather fun and creative exercise thanks to the fact that we were working with such great caterers. I can?t say enough good things about them ? they are definitely a hidden jewel, an up-and-coming small company that I think will be really big in the near future. more

I read about this amazing firm when planning my recent 'special' birthday bash. I took a chance on them based on the article I read and the pictures of the food that accompanied it. In chatting with them on the phone and then reviewing menu selections I knew my party was going to be amazing. They offered wonderful food choices at all levels of sophistication and taste. They were easy to talk to and work with. That was important to me since I was arranging everything over the phone. At no point did I feel like I was taking a risk. My marketing team actually found Tip of the Tongue Caterers for our new office open house and asked Scott and I to connect. When I met with Scott he was very friendly and really knew what he was talking about in terms how we should setup our office before they came to do their initial setup due to the fact that we have limited space. more
