Timpanogos Regional Hospital

I have had 2 outpatient surgeries here, and had excellent care. My doctor was running late, as she had patients at her office, and the staff was sure to see that we were taken care of. The nurse took my husband to the cafeteria so he could eat while we waited. They were very kind, considerate and professional. It is over an hour for us to drive there, but I would go back in an instant. more

Never return! I went for outpatient prenatal labs. They were not sent to my doctors office until requested 3 weeks later. At that point if something had been wrong it was too late. I filed a complaint with the hospital and they denied any responsibility whatsoever. They argued with me on the phone saying they gave me a prompt pay discount and I should be grateful and it is my doctors fault because they didn't request them. I than called my dr. Where they said " oh, you went to Timpanogogs Hospital. We have a hard time with getting results from them or any communication for that matter." \r \r Crazy me I think that if I pay 200 for something maybe they can send a paper with results before 3 weeks later when they needed to request them.\r \r This is not the first negative run in with them but by lack of consideration with how late it was and how hard it was to get a reply and resolution ( took over 3 weeks to get a call back), we will not return to Timpanogos Hospital ever again.\r \r Thank yo more

I have never seen such horrible service and tact in my life. I watch helplessly as a family member was in this hospital and enduring the poor treatment and I became infuriated! This is the only hospital in Utah County on my insurance plan and after this experience, I will be going to Salt Lake City and taking my chances with doctors I do not know. Pain meds would not come for 1 1/2 hours after they were requested and 2 - 2 1/2 hours after the family memeber could have had them. Doctor was new & resistant to advise from seasoned & family doctor. He, along with nurses lacked tact with my family member and sensitive situations. Don't go here unless you are prepared to die (literally, emotionally, mentally, etc) Have you had the same experience here? Please post it and warn others. more

I WENT TO THE ER FOR MY DAUGHTER. SHE COULDN'T BREATHE IT TOOK THEM FOREVER BEFORE I ACTUALLY TALKED TO SOMEONE AND THEN IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO GET TO HELP HER TO START BREATHING TO ME IT'S SCARY WHEN YOUR CHILD CAN'T BREATH. ALSO THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME BACK IN 15 MIN TO CHECK ON HER AND IF SHE WAS DOING FINE WE COULD LEAVE 45 MIN. LATER I WENT AND ASKED THE LADIES OUT FRON IF THEY KNEW HOW MUCH LONGER IT WOULD BE THEY WEREN'T VERY HELPFUL AND WE HAD BEEN THERE FOR 3 HOURS SO I ASKED IF MY 2 YR OLD DAUGHTER COULD HAVE A WATER OR SOMETHING 15 MINS. LATER I HEARD THE LADIES LAUGHING AND CARRYING ON SO I WENT OUT THERE AND ASKED THEM WHERE THE WATER WAS AND I WOULD GET IT MYSELF. THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND I DIDN'T LEAVE FOR ANOTHER 35 MINS. more

I have had friends deliver at this hospital and 2 sisters in laws deliver here and not one has had a good experience. They have all had to share a room with someone else which is not what you want to do right after you have just had a baby. They definatley would not reccomend. more

When I delivered my son at Timpanogos Regional Hospital, I hated the experience. I had to share a room (they have since added on, so this may be different) and the nurses, for the most part, were horrible. I could not get anyone to help me for at least 10-15 minutes every time I called. I felt very much like just another patient that they were trying to get rid of. more

i am very impressed with the service at timpanogos hospital! the staff are very helpfull and very friendly. we were only there for my sister but even still the services were great! thank you timanogos! more
