I went with this company over Sears because they had an expectant mom discount. The technician, was dressed well and came across as professional. He informed me that I had a huge Mold Issue and I had to add on all these extra things in order to make my house safe. Of course I believed him and bought this ""warranty"" he talked me into because I wanted my house to be safe for when I brought baby home.
Now 6 months has passed and it is time to have the vents reevaluated, cleaned and checked for mold. I called to schedule my appointment and got this UNBELIEVABLY RUDE lady who calls herself GRANDMA and wouldn't give me her real name. She basically told me that the warranty I bought was not what I thought it was and too bad. She was rude, argumentative, a major smart ass and clearly doesn't care about customer service. She apologized for me not understanding.... in a VERY belittling way. I went ahead and still scheduled my appointment for between 10-1. They never showed up! I called and actually got a very sweet lady named Dina and asked what happened. She informed me that the tech had ""called and left a message"" When in all actuality he hadn't. Now I have wasted my day and my baby is due any day now and I don't know if my vents are clean. Dina has attempted to help reschedule another appointment and showed a lot of concern. But we are running out of time.
I have filed a complaint with the company and I am supposed to be hearing back from the owner. We will see if they do the right thing and give my money back for this BOGUS warranty.
Pros: They have ONE nice Customer service rep.... Dina.
Cons: I feel tricked, taken advantage of and screwed over!
