Quality Care by a Caring Vet 11/1/2011

Last spring I unfortunately ran over my 15 year old cat as I pulled into my garage. Her leg was badly injured and I thought for sure it would have to be amputated. It was almost 5:30 pm, and when I called TTAH I was told they were about to close but they would wait for me to bring my cat in. Dr Craddock did surgery, and put an external fixator on her leg which she wore for nearly 4 months. Thanks to Dr Craddock;s skill, and the attention given to her during bandage changes twice a week by his staff, she not only survived, but walks perfectly after the EF was removed. more

Thank you for saving my dog !! 1/30/2011

Thank you so much Dr. Craddock! Because of your excellent skills, I still have my best friend with me today! My yellow Lab suffers from thunderstorm phobia and recently escaped from her kennel when a storm came while we weren't home. The dog loses her mind when she hears thunder, and in this case she ran a few miles down the road and was hit by a vehicle. She crawled to house nearby and was discovered by the resident there. We had a collar on her with all of our contact information, so the friendly neighbor gave me a call to inform me of the situation. \r \r I left work early and rushed to the neighbors house and discovered my dog still alive with a badly injured rear leg (multiple compound fractures). I called Dr. Craddock's office and they were waiting on me when I arrived with her 20 minutes later. After some quick triage work and an x-ray, he immediately took her back into surgery. He had to remove her entire leg at the hip, but that was to be expected after such a horrific injury. After a few days in recovery and some antibiotics for infection, she could stand and manuever on her own. It's been a month now and my Lab hasn't slowed down a bit! She is able to do everything she used to without any handicap. A big thanks to Dr. Craddock and his staff for reacting so quickly and efficiently. \r \r It seems that the only negative reviews on TTAH are from the same person posting multiple times. Get over it! Some people cannot be pleased, no matter how hard you try.\r \r I'll continue to use TTAH as my exclusive vet provider, no matter what. My best friend ever owes everyone there her life. more

excellent surgeon 9/2/2010

I've known and used Dr. Craddock for over 12 years, before he opened the present vet clinic. He is a superb surgeon. His spays seldom need more than 3 stitches to close, the incision is so small. Our girls bounce back quickly from the surgery and that can't be said for the work that we've had done when a different vet does a spay for us. Dr. Craddock is also as good as a cardiologist for hearing heart murmurs as well as great with patella luxation, both in detecting a loose knee and surgically repairing it. I highly recommend him. And the clinic staff have always been nice, pleasant and helpful to us. We see them frequently for puppy health exams and Tiger Town does all of our spays and neuters. more

Excellent vet 8/30/2009

From what I can tell, all the negative reviews below are from one individual. While she may have had a bad experience, I can tell you that I have nothing but good things to say about Tiger Town Animal Hospital. I have taken many animals there and have always received prompt, caring and - most of all - knowledgeable service from Dr. Craddock and his staff. Dr. Craddock spends a great deal of time with each patient, discussing all the options and explaining all the necessary treatments. He truly makes you feel as though your pet is the only animal on his schedule that day. The vet techs are really thoughtful and experienced with animals. Please don't be put off by one person's opinion! I would not take my own cats and bunnies anywhere else! Pros: caring and knowledgeable more

Great Place to Bring Animals 7/22/2009

I have been going to Dr. Craddock for the past year and a half and it sounds like from the previous reviews, this place has much improved. The staff is very friendly and just because they have to double check who you are or ask you to describe your animal on the phone doesn't mean that they don't care. They see and care for 100s of animals, many of them with the same name, and don't want to get any animal mixed up. Dr. Craddock is extremely knowledgeable and tries to work with patients and owners to make sure they get the best treatment at a price that can be afforded. He takes time to chat with me when I'm in there and gives me advise to anything, no matter how small. Personally, I love it that the staff double checks with Dr. Craddock if they aren't 100% about something, this reassures me that they are giving me the best information and advise. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone. They have everything available there on site. For example, grooming and boarding, along with your standard veterinarian technologies. Definitely check out Tiger Town Animal Hospital! Pros: Friendly, clean, knowledgable Cons: may have a short wait if there is an appointment taking long more

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VET TO ANYONE 2/16/2009

I had an apt. today, took my cat up there, showed the lady at the desk (who obviously was paying no attn.) these 3 swollen mammary glands. I had previously called and spoke to someone who said that the vet said this was common, she just needed to be spayed. When I got there today, I felt like I was being handled by some high pressured salesman, the apt. was to have her spayed, declawed, and her shots. Then I was informed of all the other many tests that she must have done. So, I agreed to have the luek. test done, and told her that I would just take her to the pet vac, which comes within blocks of our home every few weeks to get her shots (bill was still well over $200.00), which I was fine with. Then this extremely nice office manager (the high pressure salesman) calls my daughter on the phone, all my daughter heard was it's going to be at least $100.00 more, and she kept mentioning the leukemia test, so my daughter frantically calls me telling me that the cat has leukemia and it's going to cost at least $100.00 more, after calming her down I called the vet's office back, thought it was all straightened out. Then I called again later in the afternoon to see how it went. This ""office manager"" tells me that the vet decided he wasn't going to work on my cat. I said why? figuring that he had found something terribly wrong. She said ""no, he just decided that you were too concerned with mo so he decided that he wasn't going to do it!!I had never even met the vet, so all of this came from her. I sat in the waiting room until they would let me talk to the vet, which he wouldn't come out there and talk to me (bad for business I guess??) so I had to go back in a room, he told me that the office manager told him that I had a bad attitude and that's why he decided not to work on my cat. Number one..I was nothing but nice to them (well, the last time I came to pick up my cat I was ""slightly' aggravated) ,& number 2..what happened to vets who actually loved animals???? Pros: Can't think of a one! Cons: The entire staff more

This is where Dr. Craddock works, would not reccomend. 1/21/2008

Sorry if you've seen this review before, but I know how important my pets are to me. I took my kitten to get neutered and declawed last week. Both on the phone, at intake, my phone check-in, and pick-up I was handled by front desk staff only (and handled is the proper term). I never even got to speak with the vet who performed the procedures. They were very brusque and not very sensitive to my cat's individual needs. They didn't know who we were when I brought him in at the scheduled time. At pick-up they took my money, handed me some pages and my cat and walked away. No pain meds, no talk of aftercare, nothing. He had peed all over himself in the carrier (which he has never done, even on 10+ hour car rides) and didn't know what to do with a shredded paper filled box on our return home. Meaning that for almost 24 hours after surgery they didn't give him one to go in! Let me just say, I won't be back. Go to Animal House instead if you are looking for a good vet that cares more about your pets than the money. I've been to good vets, this is not just an angry response. I'm a long time pet owner, currently with 3 cats. I asked for the vet himself to call, he didn't. I asked for updates, and when I called I had to re-describe my cat to even get one, they didn't know his name or mine or anything. The experiences I have had at Animal House and the emergency facility in Anderson are a 180 from this one and in fact were on par with the best cat facility in Houston, Tx, which is a level of caring and service I never even expected to find here. Pros: My kitten survived the procedures with minimal complications. Cons: Never met the vet, bad level of care, didn't treat my pet even close to how I would. more
