The Wooten Company

As I research property managment companies in this area, I ran across these reviews. I would like to give a hats off to The Wooten Company, they must be doing something right. Only 3 people out of 100,000 people served over the years have written a complaint. I have been around Property Management for several years and that says something. There is always two sides to a story. more

My niece lived there, do not let your daughter move in here. I know in the lease it says they have the right to come in to check the apartment at anytime. They come in any and all the time for no reason, one time my niece was in the shower when maintenance came in unannounced. She was unaware that they were in there or what they were doing. The Manager Shannon is very rude and unreceptive, during the snow storm they refuse to put salt or anything down to assist in getting rid of the ice. many cars were unable to get out for days. After talking to the manager with out avail, tried to find out who her supervisor was to complain she just laughs and tells people good luck. I have sent a e-mail to the Wooten Company I hope they respond. more

Yes like Katan, I would give Wooten a zero if I could. The reason they always have new managers is because they can't keep them because of how bad they treat them and because they always move them around. The good managers will not stay because they can go some where else an find better treatment an pay an the bad managers just have a bad attitude because they don't like wooten either. They rip people off with their late fees. Low income people always end up leaving even poorer an with worse problems. more

I give them one star only because zero stars is not an option. This company is by far the worst property management company in the Springfield, MO area. First thing is you will get a different apartment manager every few weeks, so nothing really gets done. I think there's been like 6 here in one year, not counting the temps that fill in while they're looking for a new manager. When they finally do find one it will most likely be someone that knows nothing about running an apartment complex. I can?t even comment on their appearance. The neighbors above us are so loud that they knock stuff our walls. Each neighbor also has like three cars and Wooten Company doesn?t care. The apartment manager told us that there?s no assigned parking, so it?s fend for yourself. They had my car towed without warning because the tire went flat. It cost me $100 plus any damage the towing company did to it when they dragged it up on their flat bed. The apartment manager can come into your apartment at anytime and trust me they will. My wife and I were sleeping on our couch one day when the manager and maintenance man barged in. To sum it up Wooten Company is horrible and my best advice is to not rent from them. Pros: Nice apartment and rent is reasonable Cons: Wooten Company is horrible, they could careless about your problem, and apartment manager changes way to often more
