So it was sort of damp and dank to begin with. After I moved in, I discovered that I not only had mold taking growing under the walls in my bathroom (it started to seep out between the tiles), but I also had a spider infestation. And my management refused to do ANYTHING about any of the problems." They came about 2 weeks later sprayed some bleach on the mold. In those two weeks I had been rushed to the hospital b/c of the mold. \r It took about 14 weeks of calling and complaining to have management and maintenance come and fix the mold. \r Overall KORMAN is CHEAP and they DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS. more

Hi there,\r \r There is currently a problem with ****BEDBUG INFESTATION**** at The Woods.\r \r Korman is trying to conserve costs and keep the problem a secret, instead of taking it seriously and getting rid of it.\r \r My building has been infested for 5 or 6 months now, according to one of my infested neighbors.\r \r Korman's response at that time was to have an exterminator spray in his apartment. They did NOT heat-treat, they did NOT inspect the adjacent units, and they did NOT notify the other tenants. Any good exterminator will tell you it's necessary to heat-treat if you're serious, and find out the extent of the problem before treating.\r \r My apartment was ALREADY infested, and the upstairs tenant had ALREADY been forced to vacate, and my next-door neighbors had just mysteriously moved out, when Korman finally decided to notify me of the problem. They denied me the opportunity to prepare, to start vacuuming, etc., and as a result of their negligence, the problem is worse than it needs more

I was nearly in tears... 6/6/2011

Because of how nice the new management is. The old management promised me new carpet because mine was in bad shape. And I was so happy because I have two little girls and was worried it would get moldy. But after trying my hardest to get them to install it, I gave up because they never would. But a friend of mine told me to ask the new management because they are nice and very professional... Well, I got my new carpet! And I cried the other day when my youngest said, "Mommy, no more bad stuff on the floor". Thanks Korman Residential!! more

Horrible Service and Management 4/25/2011

We have been living at The Woods for two years now, and have been fairly happy with the complex overall. However, since we have been under new management with Kormen the service has suffered! The improvements that they have made have been cosmetic and were done haphazardly. The common areas were just painted however there are paint drips everywhere and our door was not fully painted. There is also still salt all over the floor from the last time it snowed 3 months ago. They moved the bulletin board outside to paint and it sat outside by the steps for a month so they basically do not clean the grounds very frequently and the common areas don t seem to be cleaned at all. They did an absolutely horrible job of clearing the snow this winter. The sidewalks and steps were not cleared until three days after it snowed (see photos). We actually had to clean off the steps to our building ourselves so we wouldn t trip and fall. Our toilet has not been working properly for the past 6 months and we more

The pet policy is also a little outrageous: $35 a month and a non-refundable deposit of $300. What kind of damage can my cat do for $300? Overall, the apartments are nice but the service is horrible. more
