Please work on your bedside manner!!!!\r I went in for my first prenatal visit today, for my first pregnancy and estimated I was with a doctor just about half the time I was there, which was around 2 hrs. The rest of the time I sat in the exam room, waiting. It felt like the dr was extremely busy and rushed, the ultrasound tech was the same, didn't even look me in the face. She didn't volunteer any information, I had to ask her what the things on the screen were. Found out that I have a cyst and that the Dr would discuss it with me back in the exam room. Fair enough, this is my first pregnancy and I have a lot of questions that I'm sure they get asked all the time. But I don't do this often and I don't appreciate having to talk over the assistant or Dr to express something I'm concerned about! After the ultrasound, the Dr breezed through a bunch of info she'd printed out for me (apparently we're to consult lists instead of having our questions answered face to face!), did not discuss the cyst (though she did pop a pamphlet on cystic fibrosis in my folder, which gives me a even more questions) and eventually asked if I had any questions. I asked ONE question, the first of many I'd prepared, and she left the room as she was answering it! She didn't give me a chance to ask anything else or even tell me my due date! I had to ask the assistant!! \r I'm coming back for another appointment in a few weeks and this is your last chance. If I feel like you're rushing to get me through, like cattle or something, or don't let me ask questions, I'm changing hospitals. I am extremely disappointed with my visit and you managed to make what should have been exciting and special, feel unimportant and confusing. more

This is a wonderful, 3-site, OBGYN practice, with skilled, warm doctors, midwife, and NP. Sometimes the best schedules are thrown off by a (very welcome) new baby needing delivery! And the cards kept on file are only used if bills don't get paid for 3 months and most patients do pay their bills on time. I do work here and would be happy to answer any questions or give a tour:-) more

Horrible, Horrible service. Make sure you know in advance that you have to give them a credit card. Even if you have insurance they request a credit card on file. If you chose to not give them a credit card number or do not have one they make you give them a $100.00 deposit. I was a new patient who waited 3 months to even get into the office. Then I waited 45 minutes and started to fill out the first part of their paperwork, when I came across the credit card portion they told me they would not see me unless I was able to give them $100.00 right on the spot or a credit card. Our family choses not to have credit cards, we have insurance with zero copay so I am extremely dissatisfied with their patient care. If this is how they treat new patients I would hate to see how they treat their existing patients. In my opinion I would take your service to another women's office group who care about their actual patients. more

Wonderful Experience 4/5/2011

Ive been a patient at this clinic for over 5 years now. Dr. Gallagher has delivered 2 of my daughters, they took very good care of me when I was in a high risk pregnancy with Preclampsia. then after having my second child she took care of my regular needs. These doctors are by far the best Ive ever had. more

Zero Stars wasnt an option... 3/11/2011

My future husband and I just moved in to the Thornton area and I decided I should look for a women's health doctor in the area as we are planning on starting a family shortly after the wedding. I made my first appointment at the Women?s Health Group and was told that because I was a new patient I should arrive 30minutes early for standard paperwork, insurance etc. more

awful experience 6/29/2009

I scheduled a regular annual with Dr. Volin, three weeks in advance! I arrived at 3 pm with my forms already filled out, and was told that there would be a 30 minute wait, b/c the Dr was running behind. Ok, not a big deal. However, 45 minutes later I still had not been called. When I was finally called in, I was notified that Dr. Volin was not available b/c he had been paged to attend a delivery. So, after a one hour wait + the 30 minutes I spent filling out the forms at home, all I got was to pay a $25 co-pay and a hasty prescription for my birth control. No annual exam, no personal attention, no time to ask questions or talk to a doctor. I will not go back to Women's Health Group ever again. And I cannot recommend it to anyone. Cons: impersonal, more

Wonderful place with the best care for women 6/11/2008

I was refered to Dr. Cindy Long 9 years ago and have been going to her ever since no matter where I moved to in the Denver, Metro area. Her, her staff and her co-worker Doctors are all great. I've seen her for everything and now for my first pregnancy, which is high risk. She's really understanding, has always taken the best path for me and really listens to all my questions, being careful to offer all choices and make recommendations instead of demands. I couldn't imagine anyone else delivering my baby or taking care of all of my OBGYN needs. I highly recommend her to anyone. My husband also feels very comfortable with her. When he thought about changing health insurance policies he made sure she was on ours because we weren't going to change doctors. Pros: Plenty of parking, never too long a wait, good enviornment, great doctors and friendly staff, wonderful response to after hour emergencies more

Overall a wonderful physician! 1/9/2007

Dr. Long is a overall a great doctor. We went to her for our prenatal care with excellent recommendations from multiple people. We received nothing but excellent care from her and have felt completely safe with her. The only thing negative we can say is that she tends to be high on medical interventions during pregnancy. We are very conservative when it comes to labor and delivery and our view have differed significantly with hers. When I approached my third trimester, I was offered an elective induction at almost every visit. We are more of the approach of letting things happen naturally. So if you are someone who is more of the inclination towards having a more medical hands on pregnancy and prenatal care than she is the right physician for you! more

Best ob/gyn ever. 11/28/2006

Dr. Long is a wonderful doctor and person. I had a high risk pregnancy and I felt totally safe with her. She is very compassionate and just has a wonderful personality. I live an hour away from her office and still drive to see her. I would never go to anyone else. Pros: Busy office because they are the best! Cons: Busy office so sometimes you have to wait to see the docs. more

AWESOME Personal Care & Bedside Manner 4/20/2006
