Andrew was very helpful, he gave me a full explanation of what my transmission was doing and needed. I believe he gave me the best price possible along with a good warranty. So far my truck is running like new. more

I usually dread having to deal with the hassles of car repair. The Transmission shop of Lewisville made a transmission fluid change for my '07 VW Passant a piece of cake. They had time for me on the day I called, which was probably good luck on my part. Andrew assured me that they used the same quality product that the dealer uses, which my guy friends said was very important. So my car is happier and I finished some important work on my computer in their comfortable waiting area while my car was getting fixed up. more

After a frustrating two with my car at another local shop without any answers I opted to pick up my car and try The Transmission Shop. Andrew answered my call after hours and spent time answering my questions without any promise of gaining my business. I took my car in as soon as they opened, and Andrew and his team had the problem diagnosed, and offered up a solution within hours of dropping the car off. They completed the work that afternoon, and my car was ready to pick up that night. I couldn't be happier with their prompt service and honesty. After two weeks at the other shop they offered a $2,100 rebuild of the transmission. Andrew and team diagnosed and repaired a simple leak in 8 hours for $250. I wouldn't rec com end any other transmission shop in the area after such a great experience at the transmission shop. more

They were slow in communicating and in performance. Andrew was not exactly forthright with me about pricing and timing. It cost more and took longer and when he said we would call he did not. Overall I would keep shopping more

According to an ABC report aired on 11/12/2010 businesses are buying the A+ BBB Rating and the BBB is under investigation by the Attorney General. I could feel that my transmission was starting to slip so I brought my car to The Transmission shop and they were able to get my car fixed quickly and for a reasonable rate. I had heard a lot of good things about them so I decided to go in and I am very pleased that I did. I recommend them to everyone. more

Very Professional 10/26/2011

I went to The Transmission Shop looking desperately for help with my clutch. Many other places either wouldn't help me or priced too high. Andrew sat me down and worked it out. He answered my cry for help in my time of peril. I will NEVER go anywhere else for my mechanical needs. Andrew and his team are by far the best there is. He had my car up and running in no time. Thanks again. more
