Agree with most of the reviews here. I needed them to come in to replace our windows and they did a stellar job. I will definitely hire them again if we get a different house. more

I had Thompson Creek Windows replace the new windows I had bought about 10 years ago. I went with cheapest replacement windows back then and it was a waste of money. After hearing there ads on WMAL I decided to see what they could offer to save me money on my utilities bills. Their represenative came in and showed me that vinyl replacements are not all the same. Go figure!! My new windows now fit tight and the gas with in the two panes is keeping all the heat and cold out. \r \r Thanks Thompson Creek for the best window and the great installers!!\r \r more

This is a great company to work with. The staff were very customer oriented, friendly and helpful. The installers worked very hard and made sure to clean up after themselves well. I love my new gutters and will be calling them for a window estimate as well. I would recommend this company to anyone. more

I am very happy with the entire replacement window process from Thompson Creek. I've found that you can get a pretty good deal by working with local companies instead of national chains and Thompson Creek is no exception.\r \r They met with me and my wife for about an hour to discuss the project. The rep answered all my questions to my satisfaction, even some difficult technical ones to my surprise. We decided we wanted their windows right there on the spot. I got their quote and the rep said it was good for one year so there is no pressure. I also like their no questions asked transferable warranty that covers everything on the windows, even accidental breakage. Since we wanted to get this done before winter and before the tax credit expires at the end of the year so we signed up that day.\r \r A few weeks later the windows were installed and I can't say enough about how easy they made the entire experience. They made sure not to make a mess inside and cleaned up my yard after they were done. The house looks great and the windows are beyond our expectations.\r \r I will most likely use them again for gutters this spring. more

I knew the moment I called to make an appointment and the person answering the phone started insisting on conditions that the Thompson Creek experience was going to be difficult. They have not even come to my home yet and already insisted my wife be present although she is not involved in the decision making process. They dictated the time for the appointment. When I asked that the sales person bring the NFRC ratings for the windows with him.her, the person helping me did not know what I meant. The NFRC is the national rating agency for replacement widows. Not sure I will go through with this as it already sounds like I'm buying a used car. Let me check with my manager (yes, they said that twice on the call). Pros: Been around a long time Cons: Used car sales tactics more
