Horible Hotel Stay 8/2/2011

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I booked a romantic package, ""A Night to Remember"". Suppopsed to be a night for two in a romantic Spa Suite,Dinner for two at the Crossings, Champagne on ice with chocolate hugs and kisses, breakfast for two delivered to our room, turn down service with a long stem rose on the pillow, and complimentary welcome beverage. They put us in a regular room, NO Champagne, NO rose, NO chocolate, NO turndown, NO breakfast delivered. It took us 3 complaints to the front desk, and until 8:30 that night to even get in the room choice we had booked.. Even after all the failures on thier part, they charged my card. $233.40 for that horrible sevice.. The only bright side was the dinner at The Crossings. I will never trust these people again, and nor should you. They totally suck. more

Great for Business or Pleasure 3/1/2009

My business partner and I stay at the Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center several times each year while consulting for nearby clients. We heard about this great Bend hotel from a client and decided to try it. In the past, we have stayed at other hotels or motels, I guess you could call them, in the same vicinity. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Riverhouse Resort for the first time. Our business keeps us on the road over 65% of the year, and we usually stay at a chain hotel since it is easy and you normally know what you are getting. more

The Riverhouse For Sure 11/23/2008

I had to visit family living in Bend, and found the Riverhouse Resort exceptional for my experience. I loved the room that I stayed in. It was bigger than most hotel rooms and the furnishings were very comfortable with a fireplace and a kitchen. I bet you can?t get a better view of the Deschutes River anywhere, it was right out our balcony door. The amenities were great as well. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The Continental Breakfast in the morning was so handy, it was great to be able to grab a quick bite without any hassle before running out the door. When visiting family again, it?s the Riverhouse Resort for sure! more

Top Notch Staff 7/29/2008

I typically don?t write reviews but my encounter with the staff at the Riverhouse was so refreshing that I felt the need to tell my story. I travel frequently for business and let?s just say that most times the customer service or lack there of can leave you wondering where did it go? I was attending a meeting at the Riverhouse Resort and had flown in from Arizona. My plane was delayed which from past experience I thought this was surely going to cause a problem when checking in, however I was surprised when the front desk crew greeted me with smiles and was able to put me in the room I had requested, with no hassle. The rooms were large and had everything I needed including a great well lit desk and a view of the Deschutes River outside my balcony. By the time I got settled I was starving and thought surely room service would be closed but to my surprise the staff was very friendly, took my order and it arrived in less than 30 minutes still hot! more
